Noland Creek Trail - 4.2 miles upstream from Lakeview Dr. at the first actual log footbridge take the obvious trail uphill next the stone wall, there is also a No Horses sign where Noland Creek Trail turns left upstream - Great Smoky Mountain National Park
Upper Stillwater Dam is a roller compacted concrete gravity dam located on Rock Creek, about 31 miles northwest of Duchesne, Utah.
Geology
Foundation: The foundation consists of Pre-Cambrian sandstone and argillites with nearly horizontal bedding planes. Most of the length of the dam bears on hard sandstone. Near each abutment the dam bears on argillite, which overlies the sandstone.

Wednesday - A full day stomping around the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, via the famous cable car, which deposits you at the very top of the ridge. You are immediately overwhelmed with magnificent views, if you are lucky with the weather, as we were!
We wanted to do several of the sites on the Upper Rock, from St Michael's Caves to the south, and the Great Siege Tunnels to the north, both of which you need the more expensive Nature Reserve pass, rather than the cheaper Walkers pass.
