Wow... How'd there get to be so many...?
I had most of them out for my last pic-fic, so I figured I might as well do a family photo. Mamoru and Gigi are looking kinda cute. I think they need a little more screen time. Lorna and Lt. Bush still need to be introduced in the story. And there's a surprise happening with Clelia and Lord Aubrey soon...
Construction is underway at the Berkeley and Shrewsbury offices.Construction at the Berkeley campus will help modernize the look of the large conference room and add much needed space for ongoing training and for overflow seating. Work includes removing the divider wall that separated the two areas in the conference room, along with a new ceiling, walls and flooring. Work is scheduled to be complete by August 26.
Work at the Shrewsbury campus will also give the conference room an updated look and provide much needed space for training. Construction includes removing both kitchen areas in the conference room and providing more room for seating, along with a new ceiling, paint and flooring. Appliances and cabinets were donated to Habitat for Humanity. Work is scheduled to be complete by Oct. 3.
Tomorrow I will be taking Daley to see the specialist at Rivergum Vets. I've never been there before, but I've heard that they are the best in Perth. I would say that I'm hoping for good news, but I'm not an idiot. I guess it all depends on what Grade his luxating patella falls into. I've been reading about it and from what I've read it sounds like he will need the surgery to try and correct it. If the vet confirms this, there will be tears :'(
I will probably have to book him in again so that they can put him under GA too have a better feel of his knee, and possibly take new X-rays of his hip because of the dysplasia.

A slight update/revamp in the office.
New speakers, Edifier RT1700BTS, new audio interface, behringer UM2 which has really surprised me how good it is for the money as has my new mic, a BM800.
Other new additions to the office, a Raspberry Pi, 3 Pi 'cluster', the 5,1 Mac Pro is down from the loft running ProxMox with various work and home related VM's, its space in the loft has now been taken up by a Dell R710 setup basically as a NAS.
I also have a 2012 Mac Mini setup as a Plex server now hidden away in the unit on the right. Again for a fairly dated bit of kit, it performs really well.
I've also put some of my fountain pens and cameras out on a new shelf unit that I still need to stain.
The only thing I really want to replace now is the monitors. I want to replace them with a 49".
I may start using the Mac Pro for a daily machine with and push its services to the R710.

Updated custom front rack for the Gunnar. At the advice of those who know more, I may add an additional tombstone reinforcement.
There's no rail joints here. This was a bit of an experiment to see if it was possible to eliminate track joints for areas that will have hidden/ difficult to reach track. I removed the stock rails and replaced them with atlas flex track rail
The garden is finally finished, had time on my hand now that my Jackie is no longer with me, re arranging the garden gave me a new purpose, looking forward to spring and the burst of colour, wish my little one would be here to see it with me. 26 July 2010

This is an update on the tub of flowers posted earlier (see below). The slugs and snails have not chewed it up, but then nor have they chewed the other identical one which does not have the copper tape deterrent. I don't think they like crossing the gravel underneath.
The alstroemerias have come up very quickly to fill the gap at the back.
Here's another picture of the little mice I found about a week ago. I took them some chinchilla food I had left over from my chinchilla, so they're set for food for awhile.
I did my first fishtank eviction : the suckerfish that has been responsible for the mysterious deaths of several fish is now waiting to be set free in the fishpond in my mum's school. The black molly, which has been freaking out since it got here, has finally calmed down. New fish are the albino molly, the red molly and the balloon ram. Yes, the fish are getting bigger and are from the fish shop on serangoon north ave 1.
