I missed an amazing sunset yesterday, getting to the reservoir just in time to see it fade away :(

So I went down early tonight hoping for a similar blazing red sky. Although no where near as good as yesterday it wasn't at all bad! AN opportunity to try out the new 5Diii and the 17-40mm with the filters for the first time in anger!

This was a pretty long exposure of nearly seven minutes, handled with ease by the 5D where the 600D would have been a world of noise...
