I think there are all kinds of things that could be said about this photograph but perhaps it's best to let it speak for itself.

 

I think (for me) street photography is the hardest photographic genre of all to do really well. I have so much to learn - but - unfortunately I only get to practice on occasion given that I live in the country. When I do visit urban settings, I truly relish the opportunity to try and make images that capture the 'truth of the street' and that 'say something significant' to the viewer. Although I have been taking pictures for more than 50 years it is only 'of late' that I have started to appreciate the genius of a Garry Winogrand or a Lee Friedlander .

 

Perhaps that speaks to maturity or maybe it's just a bit of dementia starting up?
