As our canal boat headed back into the canal from the Daugava River we went around this huge Tallink ferry which was unloading truck after enormous 18 wheeler truck. This is how the Baltic states exchange goods.

Jim has decided to take a short hike before heading up through through the brush to enter the hidden arroyo that leads up to the Tapado/bouquet agate collecting field. (this was our last day of collecting and many were excited to have the opportunity to collect bouquet agates, although not many were found, or dug up)

The fish coming out of the hold. They were obviously cold as you could see water vapour coming off the pile of fish when they hit the warm humid air.
