Took a group of over 15 teachers from around the world into a 3D virtual French village. Here are some gathered at the beach watching a slide show on some of the other places I could take them. These are hugely scalable and interactive field-trips that provide many solutions for the challenges facing education today. Hello? Anyone listening?

The anonymity of these meetings is a boon. Discussions can be frank and totally honest.

Which kind of education best describes your experience? With our students, getting them to STOP learning is the challenge.

DANCING WITH SWARMING PARTICLES is an interactive installation and performace that intends to explore the relationship between a physical user/performer and a virtual performer the “avatar” which has the physical characteristics of morphing flocking particles.

The avatar’s body is composed by flocking particles that initially float in the virtual space without any apparent order. It is through the energy of the physical user/performer’s movements that the particles will start to morph into the avatar’s body.
