I don't know if it's invented before. But the fact that connection system is a bit weird makes me believe there is not so many mad people... One unit takes me around 45 seconds to fold, it's really easy, 7 folds for a unit, bit to connect them you should use many(at least 5) paper clips. And the figure is stable only when wholly assembled. But I like it! I can't stop making these units...

I always dreamt to make an origami Bindweed (Вьюнок) but it's a fragile flower and there are some difficulties making it. Either it looks to easy or too complicated or crumpled.

This is a 60 modules kusudama, folded from triangle sheet of paper ( diagonally half of 7.5 x 7.5 cm square sheet of paper ) consists of 12 flowers with a beautiful star in middle (each of 5 modules). Each flower is surrounded with five leaves, and that produces a beautiful pattern. As this kusudama is mono colour, so to define and understand that pattern separately, I painted only those leaves ... In my origami work, I never used paint before, it's my first try, hope you will like it ... :)

And when I new from Jaciara the meaning of this name, I understood that it
should definitely be a perfect name for a kusudama....
From Tupi Guarani, language spoken by indians in southern Brazil it
means... Jaci - Moon, Ara - daughter. So this is a star Jaciara, the moon
child. Dedicated to Jaciara Grzybovski, the very nice person.
