A stunning vision of architectural color and urban life unfolds on this sunlit corner in a Portuguese city, most likely Porto, given the intense use of tiles and the streetscape. The centerpiece is the curved, multi-story building entirely clad in deep, shimmering emerald green azulejo tiles. This is not the typical blue and white; the intense green glaze catches the light dramatically, creating a smooth, reflective surface that dominates the scene and speaks to a period of daring, colorful architectural expression.

The effect of the tiling is immediately mesmerizing. The green façade is elegantly punctuated by framed windows and small wrought iron balconies, all featuring trim painted in a rich, complementary burgundy or crimson hue. This color combination—vibrant green tiles paired with deep red window frames—is bold, luxurious, and classically European. The curved nature of the building seamlessly transitions the street corner, a subtle piece of urban design that softens the intersection.

At ground level, the space is activated by a café or restaurant, identifiable by its burgundy entrance doors and matching tables and chairs set out on the wide cobblestone pavement. This immediately adds a layer of human scale and activity to the grand structure. The scene is further framed and softened by the presence of large, mature green trees on both the left and right, creating a natural canopy that provides shade and a picturesque setting for the outdoor seating area. The dense foliage on the left partially obscures the building, adding depth and a sense of discovery.

The overall composition contrasts the permanence and vibrancy of the historic architecture with the transient activity of city life—people walking, cars parked, and residents enjoying a sunny day outdoors. The light is bright and clear, emphasizing the texture of the cobblestones underfoot and the reflective quality of the glazed tiles above. This image successfully captures a quintessential Portuguese moment, celebrating the country's love for azulejo and the way history remains seamlessly integrated into the daily rhythms of the modern street. It’s an immersion into the colorful, textural heart of a beautiful European port city.

Bicycle wheels and old plastic bottles are among the recycled items on decoration at a coffee shop in Hanoi, Vietnam. Discarded wheels, wheel parts and plastic items have been turned into interior decorations at a Hanoi shop.

95% of the decorative items on display in the coffee shop are recycled items. Bicycle wheels and old plastic bottles are key decorative items. All recycled items have been hand-made. Each item is handmade from discarded wheels, plastic bits, bottles and other upcycled rubbish.

There’s an old Vespa converted into a dining table and a series of smaller tables made of used car tires. On the walls, bicycle wheels and tire plates give the café a shabby-chic vibe.

Every piece of decor has a whimsical, artistic vibe. The café is definitely a cool find you’d want to run and tell your friends about.

Foreign tourists are surprised at seeing lights made from plastic bottles. The shop has a total of four floors. Many discarded plastic bottles have been used to decorate the ceiling, creating an eye-catching look. 1,000 plastic bottles containing coloured powder and water makes for an eye-catching spectacle.

The mural paintings on the wall leave a good impression on customers.

Nguyen Tho, the shop owner, said using the recycled items aims to raise people’s awareness of environmental protection.

Luxor Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV, USA.

Luxor Las Vegas is a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The 30-story hotel, owned and operated by MGM Resorts International, has a 120,000-square-foot (11,000 m2) casino with over 2,000 slot machines and 87 table games.

Luxor contains a total of 4,400 rooms, including 442 suites, lining the interior walls of a pyramid style tower and within twin 22-story ziggurat towers that were built as later additions.

The hotel is named after the city of Luxor (ancient Thebes) in Egypt. Luxor is the second largest hotel in Las Vegas (the largest being the MGM Grand) and the eighth largest in the world.

Designed by hotel architect Veldon Simpson and interior designer Charles Silverman, the Luxor has received recognition as being among the most recognizable hotels on the Strip because of its unique design. The main portion of the hotel is a 365-foot (111 m)-high, 30-story pyramid encased in 11 acres of dark bronze glass. The guest rooms are situated on the outer walls of the pyramid and are reached by riding in "inclinators" that travel along the inner surface of the pyramid at a 39-degree angle. The hotel also features a 29 million cubic feet (820,000 m³) atrium, which was the largest open atrium in the world when it was built in 1993. The hotel is marked by a 140-foot (43 m)-high obelisk and a 110-foot (34 m)-tall re-creation of the Great Sphinx of Giza. The tip of the pyramid contains a fixed-position spotlight that points directly upward and is claimed to be the brightest beam in the world at over 42.3 billion candle power.

Using computer designed, curved mirrors to collect the light from 39 xenon lamps and focus them into one intense, narrow beam, engineers say that a person could read a newspaper by Luxor’s Sky Beam from ten miles up. On a clear night, the Sky Beam is visible up to 275 miles (443 km) away by aircraft at cruising altitude, such as over Los Angeles.

The 3,300 square meter project has a turntable design of a ceramic craftsman, built in the heart of the ancient pottery village of Bat Trang (with unique architecture based on the idea of ancient gourd furnace by architect Hoang Thuc Hao), with a total investment of about 150 billion dongs.

The center was built and developed with the aim of honoring the quintessence of the father’s pottery, displaying unique ceramic products to visitors.

The museum is a real head-turner with its extraordinary appearance. It consists of 7 funnel-shaped buildings intertwined together, their outer walls carved into multi-layered patterns. The design is said to have been inspired by pottery wheels – the signature tool of potters. (an indispensable tool of traditional pottery making).

The Beehive rock formations are sandstone shapes that not only demonstrate the unique design that can be created by nature, but are also excellent representations of geologic cross bedding. Those are the grooved lines going in different directions. The layers or beds represent different layers of silt that are deposited at different times. The beds indicate the angle of the wind or water was moving at the time the material was deposited. Cross bedding is very common in sand dunes, beach deposits, and river sediments.

A short path winds through rocky dunes with hills of the Muddy Mountains visible off in the distance.
