Whenever I see this subway escape hatch in Union Square I'm reminded of one of the final scenes in "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three"

It was a people day today and this couple are fussing about something. Next door to them is this lovely heart depicting San Francisco. I thought it summed up the moment wonderfully.

Playing with photoshop to make big things look tiny and fake when, in fact, they are huge and real.

i think this light blue will need to be changed but I'll leave that 'til the end!

Guy plays an upright piano that he somehow dragged down to the the L train platform in Union Square, two levels below the street. A Broadway chorus singer (leaning on piano on right) is waiting for the train and joins him.

Low light pictures from my camera never turn out that great - this one turned out kind of nice, though.
