This is a fence at St Giles On The Hill church in Norwich. The church has lots of wisteria and forget-me-nots every spring. It’s so beautiful the church has a musical concert in celebration. I saw the church as I drove past in the car. I went back with my camera to photograph it. There were lots of other people taking photographs too, with cameras large and small.

Rototom Sunsplash cancels its 2021 edition and invites its public to an “unforgettable and massive” festival next summer.
The current sanitary measures would limit the festival’s program to holding concerts with social distancing “and although we understand that they are necessary, they are incompatible with the essence and atmosphere of Rototom Sunsplash”.

A perfect way to experience Bryce National Park is by horseback riding. I had a few occasions to ride a horse before, but have never participated in a 1/2 day tour on PEEK-A-BOO LOOP TRAIL. The tour isn't an easy one, but I will never regret taking on this challenge. It was so exciting! The horses are well trained to travel along the outer ridge of the trail even when they go down the switchbacks to the bottom canyon. The inner edge of the trail is designated for hikers! Well, let me tell you: it is a thrill, and not for everyone! Fear is the factor! When you sit on a horseback, you are much higher, and therefore you feel frightened. There is quite a few horses in front of and behind you. If you scream, your horse stars to gallop, then the others follow yours. They are animals, right? Sometimes, the best thing to do on switchbacks is just to close your eyes and trust your horse! I mean it! I have done it twice!!! Remember it is an experience of a lifetime! For sure, I will remember the Bryce’s breathtaking beauty from horseback for ever,.... and my behind for years! :))
Two reasons I won't likely forget the circumstances of this shot. First, it was taken during the first elk rut I ever witnessed. Second, I snapped this from under the front bumper of a rented SUV.
I had been down on one knee, shooting this bull as he kept coming toward me. Though it was my first rut, I knew of the danger and when it seemed he wasn't going to stop his approach, I laid down, rolled under the SUV and kept shooting.
The first mention of Middachten appears in the year 1190, and although the castle dates from the early Middle Ages, the house in its present form was built towards the end of the 17th century and still includes some medieval parts. Middachten is unique in that it is still a real, working estate. Besides the castle, park and gardens, the estate also includes farms, woods and agricultural land.
Middachten has never been sold but has always passed from one generation to another. As a result of this, the interior of the castle is complete and still has many of the original household effects, including a large collection of portraits and much 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century furniture. The castle also has the original cupboards filled with collections of china, silver and glass-wear, and antique linen. The management of the estate is in the hands of the 25th Lord of Middachten, Count zu Ortenburg.
Your wedding at Middachten Castle would be an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. You would be welcomed at the castle steps from where you would be led through the vestibule with its beautiful staircase to the great hall. Here an official from the Rheden Borough Council would conduct the civil wedding ceremony. The gardens around the castle form a wonderful location for your wedding photographs.
The one shot I got of the pretty forget-me-nots before Poppy, my dog, decided to lie in them! I think she often gets fed up if walkies is interrupted by photography! I really disliked the colours of the original image, so this has been subjected to significant twiddlation.

I'll always remember the beautiful sunsets at the northern end of Lake Cascade near Donnelly, Idaho. They are ever changing and simply beautiful… and, of course, I look forward to seeing more of them next year!
