This is an old tree just off the Midland Highway kind of in the middle of nowhere. I am not sure when it fell but i've been photographing it for a few years now. I always try to check how it is whenever I drive past - this photo is from last year but it's still hanging on. I'm sure it has a story to tell.
Some seeds of this Datura flower got into my Calla Lily pots, 5 plants were in bloom last night.
Took this shot as the sun was setting between the trees.

This is a shot of a Rudbeckia which just starts to flourish, where I've tried to use the flower heads and the peduncles of the ones in the background to create a nice bokeh. Hope you like it!
