I believe that something positive is unfolding today. I am grateful for everything that has occurred today, as each event has been a good and meaningful experience.
An awe-inspiring spectacle unfolds as the sun gradually sets over Coniston lake, casting a warm, golden hue across the horizon. The ethereal beauty of the sky mirrors in the tranquil water, creating a mesmerising landscape of nature. This spectacle is punctuated by the silhouette of distant mountains and scattered trees, offering a sense of tranquillity and peace. Only the birds disrupt the peace.
A good portion of the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand is rainforest. Lot of ferns! The koru (Māori for 'loop or coil') is a spiral shape evoking a newly unfurling frond from a silver fern. Its shape conveys the idea of perpetual movement, while the inner coil suggests returning to the point of origin.
A beautiful Lily by the window .. and yes I should have not have chopped the top curl off !! :)
Unless my 'early' birthday present turns up tomorrow and I will just have to show you ;) this will be my last upload till next week, early thursday 2 friends and I are heading to Beijing China !! no kids no hubby's ... all shopping :)

In the heart of autumn's gentle sigh,
Where crimson leaves take to the sky,
A tapestry of red unfolds,
In nature's grandeur, stories untold.
Each leaf, a flame in the dying light,
Dancing gracefully, a spectral flight,
With hues of scarlet, amber, and gold,
In whispered secrets, their tales unfold.
Amidst the forest's emerald sheen,
A canvas painted with colors serene,
Red leaves flutter, a symphony rare,
In the crisp, cool, autumn air.
But beyond the branches, a magic lies,
A soft green bokeh, like stars in disguise,
A halo of verdant dreams aglow,
Where fantasies wander and whispers flow.
In this juxtaposition, a harmony found,
Where red and green in splendor abound,
A union of contrast, a sight to behold,
In nature's masterpiece, a story untold.
So let us revel in this autumn's grace,
As red leaves dance in their final embrace,
And in the backdrop of green bokeh's delight,
We find beauty in the fading light.
A fern unfoldning, looks almost like a very green alien, however more beautiful and a lot less scary when the unfoldning is done :)
