In this video, Dr.Rajan Sankaran, with the help of a case, gives an insight and understanding about the basic nature of all human beings. My love-hate relationship with George the Rooster has come to an amicable understanding. In return for him not rushing at me with murderous intent I am keeping him well fed and watered and have installed new in-pen entertainment. We’ve been clearing the gorse, bracken and brambles by his pen giving him an altogether more pleasant outlook. Now when I say “we” I mean a neighbourly exercise of one of our close neighbours with his ear screaching and toe curling bladed brush cutter. It puts the fear into me but I’m coming to the conclusion that it can’t be that hard if I keep all my fingers, toes and other extremities out of harm’s way. That and having head to toe protection to keep any flying debris from causing harm.
So like the home spoiled bassets I have now a rooster who is living the life of his namesake – HM George III. Yes, George of the madness kind!

Secretary Rita Landgraf welcomed about 80 mental health professionals, advocates and consumers to an April 1 conference, "Understanding Loneliness." Secretary Landgraf said loneliness is increasing, but especially for vulnerable populations such as people with serious mental illness, seniors, and people with other disabilities.
"As humans, we need those meaningful social interactions that people who care about us or provide," Secretary Landgraf said.
A 2010 AARP study of adults found that 40% said that they had been lonely, a figure that was double the rate in the 1980s.
The conference, sponsored by DHSS' Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, also included a consumer panel, experts on statistics and trends, and recommendations for reaching out to people with serious mental illness.

The Aligarh Inferfaith Center in collaboration with the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi and Iran Culture Centre, Delhi organized a one day conference of interfaith understanding on the 10th of December, 2022 in the Vivekananda Auditorium of Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi.
