Finalmente coloquei em prática meu primeiro projeto fotográfico chamado: "Unconditionally"! Isso mesmo pra quem já ouviu essa música da Katy Perry deve saber no que me inspirei né? Realizei esse projeto por causa do preconceito que vejo todos os dias as pessoas cometendo, vamos parar com esse preconceito de achar que só porque as pessoas são do mesmo sexo elas não podem se amar! Mas é claro que elas podem. Todos temos o direito de amar quem quisermos, e as fotos desse projeto provam que o amor está acima de tudo! Fiquei simplesmente encantada em poder fotografar um casal tão lindo como esse. Só posso agradecer a Nika e a Carol pela oportunidade de retratar um amor tão sincero e intenso! Obrigada meninas!
Neste projeto quis capturar o amor sincero das duas, os toques, os abraços, os carinhos e a delicadeza desse amor. Preferi editar as fotos com pouca saturação para passar um ar de leveza e delicadeza. Espero que gostem!

This sculpture of the iconic Life Magazine photo by Alfred Eisenstaedt is amazing! I have to tell you, it was pretty wild to see unexpectedly in Sarasota, FL framed by palm trees; I took this out the passenger window at the stoplight. I think the car in the back gives it a bit of scale, but again, 25 feet is pretty HUGE. I guess most people would maybe came up to her knee if that! Hugs and Kisses of course, and thanks for viewing!

The IFRC /Philippine Red Cross cash team register community members who will receive unconditional cash grants as part of the emergency response operation. Although absent from most of my usual flickr activities off late, I've still somehow been roped into being tagged by the wonderful Rick (word_artist), so here I go...
EDIT: I think I was supposed to say 9 things, but instead I wrote 16 because I saw others wrote 16...and since I love talking about myself, I chose the latter number ;)
1 I love myself. Unconditionally. This is how I have survived life with such a big smile for the most part . There are a few people in my life whom I claim to love more than myself, but I often feel worthy *to* love them as much because of this faltering yet resilient love I have for the self. I have heard it said that you can't truly love anyone else unless you love yourself, I don't find this universally true, but this definitely holds true for me personally.
2. The most important people in my life are my family and a few very close friends I have been blessed with, I would do all that I can for them.
3 .I am not an artist by the strictest definition of the word perhaps, but I've always been artistically inclined. I am particularly fascinated by literature and the visual medium. I am envious and admiring of people who can arrange words beautifully, this is why I can't listen to music lending only half an ear. I absorb the words. I've always wished that I could paint, paint as beautifully as my sister, because not having my own creative outlet had me in a perpetual state of restlessness. Now after having found photography, the sigh of joy and relief is often just a shutter click away :-)
4. I am the most nostalgic person I know. This often proves to be a cause of extreme sufferance for me. To say the words 'the good ol' days' out loud or to even think it is painful for me. I love today because I live, I am enchanted by the idea of tomorrow because I believe in all the 'something wonderfuls' that can and will happen. I grieve yesterday because it slipped out of my hands before I could grasp it to my heart's content. I wish this weren't so. Memories are bittersweet, I walk the lane often, and I often smile it through, but it is always accompanied by a deep ache in my heart. I think this has a lot to do with my inability to express and explain what I have seen, words are never enough. This is why I love pictures, this is why I love the camera.
5 I have severe attachment issues. This also ties back to my being such a nostalgic being. I don't throw away things. My sister has to periodically come and relieve me of that responsibility. I never thank her for her trouble. I still have my first walkman, my first color pencil set, every card anyone has ever given to me, notes passed between friends from school days, my first crush's homework submissions I stole in 7th grade (hey, don't judge me!). Dried flower petals, feathers from a lost day...they are all there.
6 I am an escapist. If asked of all the things what I do best, I would say I escape well. I just wish more often it would be to a place further than the four walls of my room or closet.
7. I love to travel, and I would love to travel to a new place once a year at the least. As long as I can come back home of course :]
8 I love New York, because it's home.
9 I think mostly in colors, I'm prone to defining things with colors, I feel them rather than see them sometimes. This is why Mark Rothko is one of my favorite painters. For each day, I have defining color(s). My most favorite color is white, followed by green and red.
10 I can either be painfully shy, reclusive or overly communicative. If you find me to be somewhere in the middle, this means either I don't like you or you make me extremely uncomfortable. If I am making 'small talk' with you, this is a big hint that you are unlikely to become my friend.
11 I am prone to being superficial, and for this I do not apologize. I can be downright hedonistic in my appreciation of beauty at times.
12 Two subjects I like to avoid broaching or take part in are religion and politics. I have usually found that it only brings to surface the 'differences' between people than anything else, and this is something most people are not cable of handling with grace. I respect everyone's individualistic beliefs, with the exception of any form of extreme or blind fanaticism...this I find deeply disturbing. My philosophy however remains, to live and let live.
13 I am always fascinated by the smaller pleasures in life. I love rain the most, what is it they say...a cloud is a promise and rain fulfillment? :-)
14. I am obsessed with children, you know...the little people, I think I want 8 of my own.
15 I love the smell of books, sniffing out books in stores is one of my favorite things to do...
16 My favorite time is night time. That is when all the magic tend to happen :-). I love stargazing, I could stare at them forever if lying on a beach.
