Tintagel Church is dedicated to St Merteriane (or Materianas). St Materianas may have been St Madryn, a princess of Gwent, who is believed to have preached here. The present church may have been built on the site of a Celtic oratory run by the monks of Minster. It is outside Tintagel village on a uncluttered site, off the coast path.
Tintagel Church today has a cruciform shape of nave chancel and transepts, and was built between 1080 and 1150. The Norman Earls of Cornwall held Tintagel and built first Bossiney Castle. Then Earl Reginald, a son of Henry I, built the first Tintagel castle on the island around 1141 and probably finished building the church. Much of the existing stonework of the north wall may part of an earlier church incorporated in the Norman building .
One of my favorite spots. Just a clean, pure, quiet, uncluttered, idyllic little place..
I have asked that some of my ashes be scattered here when I leave this world..

Meghan, the last of her family to be cloned. It sounds odd to read that back but the era of cloning is very much upon us. I have cloned her brothers Aaron and Ronan.
The thinking behind this shot was to keep the composition so simple and so uncluttered that there is nothing to question. I wanted to have people question if it was the same girl or if they were twins. Unlike the photos of her siblings Aaron and Ronan this photo has been drained of dramatic contrast; this once again makes it more 'casual'. The idea was that the photo would be more of a family snap rather than a surreal portrait.

LA CATEDRAL
The original structure, dating from 1656, was gutted by fire in 1844. Consequently rebuilt, only to be promptly flattened by the earthquake of 1868. Most of what you now see has been rebuilt since then.
The earthquake of June 2001 toppled one enormous tower and left the other slumped precariously, yet by the end of the following year the cathedral was looking as good as new once again.
The cathedral is the only one in Peru that stretches the length of a plaza. The interior is simple and airy, with a luminous quality, and the high vaults are uncluttered. It also has a distinctly international flair; the cathedral is one of less than 100 basilicas in the world that are entitled to display the Vatican flag, which stands to the right of the altar.
Both the altar and the 12 columns (depicting the 12 apostles) are made of Italian marble; the huge Byzantine-style brass lamp hanging in front of the altar is from Spain, and the pulpit was carved in France. In 1870, Belgium provided the impressive organ, said to be the largest in South America, though damage during shipping condemned the devout to wince at its distorted playing for over a century.

AREQUIPA
Arequipa is the capital of the Arequipa Region in southern Peru. With a population of around 800,000 it is the second most populous city of the country. Arequipa lies in the Andes mountains, at an altitude of 2,380 meters (7740 feet) above sea level, overseen by the snow-capped volcano El Misti.
The city has many colonial-era Spanish buildings built of sillar, a pearly white volcanic rock, from which it gets the nickname La Ciudad Blanca ("The White City").
The historic centre of Arequipa was named a UNESCO world heritage site in 2000, in recognition of its architecture and historic integrity.

Birmingham's much maligned Central Library is now being demolished and will be replaced by a more nondescript group of commercial buildings. It was one of the most famous/infamous examples of architecture of the modernist / 'brutalist' style in England, constructed in 1974 to the design of John Madin.
Dubbed as one of Britain's ugliest buildings, it had nonetheless become something of an iconic period landmark and thus there was some opposition to the decision to demolish the complex.
The form had been referred to as the 'inverted ziggurat' given it's resemblance to one of the ancient Middle Eastern pyramid-like structures, only turned on it's head! It was also famously described by Prince Charles as looking "more like a place for burning books than reading them!"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birmingham_Central_Library
I have more mixed feelings about the whole process, the building had been in a sorry state for some years, its massive dull grey exterior was a depressing sight to many, not helped by the council's decision to cut the budget when it was originally commissioned and replace the architect's planned white marble clad exterior with the grey concrete finish that became so notorious. It also suffered insensitive conversion of the originally open ground floor into the unsightly and cluttered Paradise Forum in the late 1980s, which wrecked the original effect.
I remember first seeing the building on a school trip in 1980 when it looked quite different, cleaner, whiter, uncluttered and open at its lowest storey, giving a totally different effect from the mess it later became. As a six-year-old I thought it all looked like something from a sci-fi film and was quite impressed (though in later years found it less inspiring, seeing how grey it had become). The building and I were roughly the same age, it having first opened to the public the month before my birth in 1974.

Day 14 - "Footloose!" by Kenny Loggins
I been working so hard
Keep punching my card
Eight hours, for what?
Oh, tell me what I got
I get this feeling
That time's just holding me down
I'll hit the ceiling
Or else I'll tear up this town
Tonight I gotta cut
(Chorus)
Loose, footloose
Kick off your Sunday shoes
Please, Louise
Pull me offa my knees
Jack, get back
C'mon before we crack
Lose your blues
Everybody cut footloose
You're playing so cool
Obeying every rule
Dig way down in your heart
You're yearning, burning for some
Somebody to tell you
That life ain't passing you by
I'm trying to tell you
It will if you don't even try
You can fly if you'd only cut
(Chorus)
Loose, footloose
Kick off your Sunday shoes
Oowhee, Marie
Shake it, shake it for me
Whoa, Milo
C'mon, c'mon let go
Lose your blues
Everybody cut footloose
I'm so running out of ideas for songs/pictures. HELP!

While I worked at O'Hare, I was always watching the skies -- airports have lovely big uncluttered skies, suitable for cloudwatching (with contrails!) and sunset-spectating.
G Concourse of Terminal 3 is particularly dramatic to silhouette against the setting sun, because of that lovely rippled swooping roofline. It's pretty from the inside, too. It's the concourse the American Eagle regional jets leave from, mostly.

These very lovely greyhound statues are currently placed around Lenox Square. I saw maybe four of them. The only place where I could get an uncluttered shot of one was here, in this wing where they are putting in ultra-high-end shops like the one you see in the background.

St Peter, Brooke, Rutland
I had returned to Rutland on one of those glorious days in the spring of 2018 which will long remain in our memory, when the trees are coming into leaf like something almost being said, and I had come to complete my cycle ride around the Rutland churches. There are fifty of them, and I had visited my first one, Tixover, the previous July. I had run out of time in 2017, and winter arrived with me still having nine left to visit. It was my plan to complete them today.
Already this morning I had explored the churches of Hambleton, Egleton and Oakham, and it was now time to head south. I plotted the course which would take me to the six churches between the Leicestershire border and the long road which runs down from Oakham towards Corby in Northamptonshire. Just to the north of that much-maligned town is the Rutland village of Caldicote, and there I would complete my visits to the county's churches, before cycling back to Stamford or Peterborough with what I imagined would be a self-satisfied expression on my face. But things would not go according to plan.
I cycled steadily up the steep northern side of the long ridge which runs across below Oakham, and then enjoyed the pleasingly long swoop down to the village of Braunston-in-Rutland, so-called to differentiate it from the larger village of Braunston over the Northamptonshire border. All Saints is a simple, open church with aisles, set down below the village. Another Norman south doorway, and one of those delightful cartoony windows by Harry Harvey of the York School. Otherwise, the glass is murky Kempe stuff.
I wandered around to the west doors to find something I'd read about, a stylised stone carving of a woman, probably pagan, perhaps dating from the pre-Christianised Saxon times. Her mouth is exaggerated, wide and lascivious. For centuries she was turned face down for use as a threshold of a doorway, until she re-emerged during the 19th Century restoration. She has been here for perhaps 1,600 years, an amazing thought.
What was she? A fertility symbol? A goddess? Voices drifted from the garden below the church, where dozens of lycra-clad cyclists were preparing for a cycling-sportive event around the hilly lanes. It seemed extraordinary to me that these two worlds could exist together in the same place. With one last glance back at the goddess I got in the saddle, and headed back up into the village. A few of the cyclists overtook me cheerily as I turned off eastwards along the lane which would take me the short distance to Brooke.
An idyllic spot, a huddle of stone houses around the church. St Peter is a curious and lovely sight as you approach it from the west, the rugged, primitive tower so low that on the OS map it isn't identified as having one, and then beside it a post-Reformation Elizabethan aisle that looks as if it might be more at home in a Cambridge college.
You step through a Norman south doorway so late it is already transitioning into Early English, a point appearing at the top of the arch, and into a space which is quite unexpected. As Pevsner notes, 'the atmosphere of the interior is enchanting'. A Norman arcade separates the Tudor aisle from the nave, there is a Norman font, brick floors and then box pews of the 16th and 17th century. The aisle is easily as wide as the nave, and continues through its own arch into a chancel chapel, which is charmingly a match for the contemporary chancel beside it, as big as the chancel itself, and here you see the reason for it, for here is the alabaster table tomb of Charles Noel, 1619. 17th Century return stalls and screen separate chancel from nave. The whole place is uncluttered and seemly and, as Pevsner says, enchanting.
Heading on south now, up and down the ridges which corrugate this part of the country. I was aimed for Ridlington, and I was about halfway there when I came down a particularly steep hill. I slowed, but hit a patch of gravel, and my bike slid from under me. I bounced, and I scraped, and I lay.
As you may imagine, this was a bit shocking. I sat there dazed on the verge for a while, until two passing cyclists called Paul and Emily very kindly came to my aid. They weren't taking part in the Sportive, but had seen it was happening and also that there was a paramedic ambulance in attendance. Emily cycled back to Braunston to get them. They checked me over, found nothing was broken, and after twenty minutes or so my readings showed that I was not apparently in any great danger. That isn't how it felt - I had scrapes on my right leg, right arm and back, a bruise on my thigh and gravel injuries to my face, which were actually the least serious of the injuries but also the most spectacular.
With the paramedics' permission I cycled back to Oakham station, Paul and Emily accompanying me to make sure that I made it. They were absolute angels. The train from Oakham took me to Peterborough, and the train from Peterborough to Ipswich took me home. By now my bruises had started to swell up, and so it was a bit of a haul to get myself home from the station, but the long hot bath when I got there was probably the best one I have ever had. The following day I was stiff and bruised and unable to walk far, but the human body is an amazing and resilient thing. A week later I still have some spectacular bruises, and while walking is back to normal I find lying down still uncomfortable without painkillers. Ironically, I feel most comfortable of all on my bike.
I remember vividly the sensation of the bike sliding from under me, of me bouncing and then sliding along the gravel before flipping onto my face. If I had put out my arm to break my fall then I think I would have broken at least my collar bone, and perhaps my arm. It was a near thing. But nothing was broken, I am on the mend, and already I'm thinking of getting back to Rutland as soon as possible to finish the blessed place off while still the unresting castles thresh in full-grown thickness every May, last year is dead they seem to say, begin afresh, afresh, afresh...
New wall. I took all the old art down and hung my new shelf and I'm slowly adding art back to the wall. I like the new uncluttered look for now. The awesom painting on the shelf was a wedding present from Pattie Mosca! I'm going to get a frame for it and it's going on the wall.
Come into the boudoir. This simple hand-drawn sans tries to invoke the same feelings as its name - and not to be overluscious. Boudoir is sweet and sensual like women, but it’s at the same time uncluttered and masculinely straightforward.
The font borrows some playful capital shapes from the all caps Baronessa and draws inspiration for others from old classics.
Thanks to the bolder weights, it can also be used in smaller sizes, you can combine different weights for different sizes to obtain a more balanced look, or you can just give emphasis using different weights.

I am currently using the view-finder (my favourite) at the moment. The screen is a touch screen which allows for focussing, focus-pulling during video and and shutter-release. The wee beastie can also be triggered by smartphones (WiFi) and computers (USB port). It also has a VAST number of customisable settings not immediately apparent of the relatively uncluttered control interface
Some background:
The VF-1 was developed by Stonewell/Bellcom/Shinnakasu for the U.N. Spacy by using alien Overtechnology obtained from the SDF-1 Macross alien spaceship. Its production was preceded by an aerodynamic proving version of its airframe, the VF-X. Unlike all later VF vehicles, the VF-X was strictly a jet aircraft, built to demonstrate that a jet fighter with the features necessary to convert to Battroid mode was aerodynamically feasible. After the VF-X's testing was finished, an advanced concept atmospheric-only prototype, the VF-0 Phoenix, was flight-tested from 2005 to 2007 and briefly served as an active-duty fighter from 2007 to the VF-1's rollout in late 2008, while the bugs were being worked out of the full-up VF-1 prototype (VF-X-1).
The space-capable VF-1's combat debut was on February 7, 2009, during the Battle of South Ataria Island - the first battle of Space War I - and remained the mainstay fighter of the U.N. Spacy for the entire conflict. Introduced in 2008, the VF-1 would be out of frontline service just five years later, though.
The VF-1 proved to be an extremely capable craft, successfully combating a variety of Zentraedi mecha even in most sorties which saw UN Spacy forces significantly outnumbered. The versatility of the Valkyrie design enabled the variable fighter to act as both large-scale infantry and as air/space superiority fighter. The basic VF-1 was built and deployed in four minor variants (designated A, J, and S single-seater and the D two-seater/trainer) and its success was increased by continued development of various enhancements including the GBP-1S (Ground-combat protector weapon system) "Armored" Valkyrie exoskeleton, developed and built by Shinnakasu.
The GBP-1S was bolted to a VF-1 Battroid like a medieval plate armor and prevented the Valkyrie’s transformation, but it could be quickly jettisoned. It consisted of a space metal frame structure, plated with SWAG energy conversion armor and reactive armor. The system included a pair of boosters, similar in design to those used in the “Super Valkyrie” package but armored like the rest of the exoskeleton and somewhat smaller because they were not intended for prolonged travel in space, just for maneuvering. The boosters and other veneers offered “four times the mobility” of the Destroid Spartan in a zero-G environment.
Armament was greatly enhanced through protected launch bays for short-range HE micro missiles and armor-piercing projectiles which were integrated into shoulders, chest, lower arms and legs, plus hand grenades. The exoskeleton prevented, however, the VF-1’s carriage of underwing stores and the Valkyrie’s standard GU-11 55 mm three-barrel Gatling gun pod had to remain handheld.
Originally commissioned only for special operations and primarily intended to be only used by the commanders’ VF-1S single-seat fighters, the GBP-1S nonetheless saw first operational deployment in space for a routine patrol in October 2009. Then Second Lieutenant Hikaru Ichijyo launched from CVS-101 Prometheus in a GBP-1S equipped VF-1J Valkyrie, on a deep space reconnaissance mission to determine possible Zentraedi incursion. Very little useful information on performance was gained from the deployment of the GBP-1S during Hikaru's mission, though, mostly due to poor tactical maneuvering. Although flight records do indicate the GBP-1S functioned as designed, both offensively and defensively, the effectiveness of the unit was left in question. Some U.N. Spacy analysts critical of the October 2009 deployment suggested that the poorly conceived near-simultaneous launch of the full GBP-1S ordnance had allowed the enemy to intercept a few initial missiles, resulting in the sequential, premature detonation of most the following munitions before they were able to impact. These same analysts also noted the successful defensive performance of the GBP-1S, resulting in the initial counter of several direct hits from enemy fire before the system was ejected from Lt. Ichijo's VF-1J. Despite the less than ideal initial deployment of the GBP-1S, the system was not abandoned and employed during several special missions (e.g. operation “Bullseye”) further designs continued to find use in successive variable fighters, most notably the Protect Armor system found on the VF-11 Thunderbolt, VF-11C Thunderbolt Protect Armor.
After the end of Space War I, the VF-1 continued to be manufactured both in the Sol system and throughout the UNG space colonies. Although the VF-1 would be replaced in 2020 as the primary Variable Fighter of the U.N. Spacy by the more capable, but also much bigger, VF-4 Lightning III, a long service record and continued production after the war proved the lasting worth of the design.
During its career the versatile VF-1 underwent constant upgrade programs. For instance, about a third of all VF-1 Valkyries were upgraded with Infrared Search and Track (IRST) systems from 2016 on, placed in a streamlined fairing in front of the cockpit. This system allowed for long-range search and track modes, freeing the pilot from the need to give away his position with active radar emissions, and it could be used for target illumination and guiding precision weapons. Many Valkyries also received improved radar warning systems, with receivers, depending on the systems, mounted on the wingtips, on the fins and/or on the LERXs. Improved ECR measures were also mounted on some machines, typically in conformal fairings on the flanks of the legs/engine pods. Specialized reconnaissance and ECM sub-versions were developed from existing airframes, too.
The VF-1 was without doubt the most recognizable variable fighter of Space War I and was seen as a vibrant symbol of the U.N. Spacy even into the first year of the New Era 0001 in 2013. At the end of 2015 the final rollout of the VF-1 was celebrated at a special ceremony, commemorating this most famous of variable fighters. The VF-1 Valkryie was built with a total production of 5,459 VF-1 variable fighters with several variants (VF-1A = 5,093, VF-1D = 85, VF-1J = 49, VF-1S = 30, VF-1G = 12, VE-1 = 122, VT-1 = 68). However, beyond this original production several “re-built” variants existed, too, and remained active in many second line units and continued to show the design’s worthiness years later, e. g. through Milia Jenius who would use her old VF-1 fighter in defense of the colonization fleet, 35 years after the type's service introduction!

The kit and its assembly:
After a long while I found enough mojo (again) to tackle a mecha build, and it’s an “authentic” one. To be specific, it’s a 1st generation IMAI 1:100 kit of Roy Fokker’s famous “Skull One” VF-1S in a GBP-1S exoskeleton, becoming an “Armored Valkyrie”. While this is a recent re-issue of that kit from the early Eighties (the molds were created in 1982), it retains the classic weaknesses of early mecha model kits: there are no vinyl caps that support a smooth yet dampened flexibility of the many joints, and the whole body is constructed in a Matryoshka-esque fashion, so that single assemblies like arms, legs, head and torso cannot be built separately and finally put together into the figure, but rather require a step-by-step building- and-completion process because of the joints’ mindless construction. Another weak point: despite many joints and posture possibilities the model remains quite “static” and mannequin-like. That’s O.K. for display, but the model hardly conveys any agility or dynamics.
The kit itself is nice, though, because the fit is quite good (for its age) and there are more joints than on the contemporary ARII kits of the standard VF-1, even though some of them are useless (see below).
From the start I planned to build the kit as the OOB Roy Fokker VF-1S, but with some improvements.
For instance, I replaced the right fist (the kit’s only option for both hands) with an open hand of appropriate size from a Dorvack PAM-74 kit. The other was retained OOB but received an adapted GU-11 gun pod – the handheld weapon is typical for VF-1s, but unfortunately not included in the IMAI kit, so that I used as leftover pod from an Arii VF-1 Battroid.
Additionally, both hands received adapters scratched from styrene tube material so that they could be mounted in different, more natural positions; OOB the two fists come with ring joints that theoretically allow them to rotate, but they are set so deep into the lower arms that this actually is impossible. As a side benefit of the new adapters, they made painting and later assembly easier.
Beyond the hands the lower arms offered even more room for improvements: OOB, the triple GA-100 missile heads that protrude above the hands are single bare pieces; I replaced them with cut-off warheads from 1:100 AMM-1 missiles (left over from Arii 1:100 VF-1 Fighters), glued onto a thin base plate. Simple, but it improves the model’s overall look a lot.
The upper arms received totally new shoulder joints, again made from styrene tubes, to allow their separate assembly and painting. Matching adapters had to be inserted into the torso, and the head was mounted on a similar new joint, too – with all the stuff hidden inside the upper body looked as if an endoskeleton had been implanted!
On the shoulder missile compartments’ rear end, the open “grid” of the exhausts, the horizontal bars received “masks” made from thin styrene profiles to hide seams and misalignments. Again, a small modification, but it improves the overall look a lot.
Further down the body, modifications continued. The hip was upgraded to change the legs’ geometry into a more dynamic “3D stance”. This was achieved with a styrene tube filled with steel wire to bend and fix the leg joints’ axles backwards – a stunt that was, compared with the normal VF-1 Battroids from Arii, quite easy to realize. Again, matching jackets in the upper legs replaced the original simple pegs, and the legs remained detachable for separate assembly and painting. The resulting gaps between upper legs and pelvis were filled with pieces of paper tissue drenched in PVAC glue, creating dummies of flexible covers.
While the lower torso of the kit featured a joint to allow the upper body to rotate, I replaced it with a new vertical styrene tube construction, too, again allowing the body sections to be built and painted separately with better accessibility.
While there are many other hidden missile compartments all over the body I did not open them, to leave the hull rather “uncluttered”.
The armored assistance boosters on the back, flanking the folded wings, are correct in shape and detail, but appear a bit small for the bulky armor. As a remedy I “stretched” them a few millimeters with styrene sheet inserts, and I added details inside of the exhaust openings that hide ugly seams which are hard to PSR away in this confined location.
Painting and markings:
Authentic, with the VF-1S’ visible parts painted in white (actually a very light grey, I used RAL 7035/Revell 374 as basis) with black and yellow trim to represent Roy Fokker’s Skull One, and the exoskeleton’s surfaces painted in a dark blue which was supposed to be neither too greenish (e.g. FS 35042) nor too reddish (like Humbrol’s 104 Oxford Blue). After long consideration I settled upon Tamiya X-3 “Royal Blue”, IMHO a good compromise – even though it turned out darker on the model than initially expected, and I panel-shaded it later with RAL 5013 (Revell 350, Lufthansa Blau) and Humbrol 25. The red contrast areas on chest and lower arms were painted with Humbrol 19.
Thanks to the modified joints the kit was much easier to paint and weather, which was done with a light black ink washing to emphasize recesses and panel lines and with dry-brushing to highlight edges and add plasticity.
From the OOB sheet were most stencils taken, but I added some more from other VF-1 sheets. The original veneer thruster decals were replaced with smaller alternatives (taken from an ARII Destroid Phalanx and upgraded with small white bars to make them stand out more on the hull’s dark blue background), and I procured “Kite” insignia from ARII VF-1 Fighters, esp. for the folded wings on the “backpack”. Unfortunately, the OOB decal sheet lacks the nice “nose art” on the inner left leg, so that I improvised a similar motif from the scrap box, combining single white stars from a TL Modellbau sheet, the white “Shirley June” tagline from a WWII F4U Corsair and a portrait that belongs to a Czech Su-25. It’s bigger than what the box art shows and different in colors, but it still looks good on the exoskeleton, adding an individual touch. ^^
Finally, the model’s still separate sections were sealed with matt acrylic varnish, and the Armored Valkyrie was put together.
Well, the IMAI kit lingered a long time in The Stash™, after I had been lucky enough to get my hands on a specimen for a reasonable price. Building it with all the improvements took a while and some effort – and the worst thing is that almost none of them are visible, at least at first sight. Pretty subtle. But it’s a nice addition to my 1:100 Macross model collection, a properly built Armored Valkyrie had been missing, even though I had built (and later re-built again) one as a wreck as part of my Armored Factory diorama and its modernization many years ago. This technically upgraded VF-1S model is MUCH better now, in any respect, despite the model’s age (after all, the molds were created in the early Eighties)!
What’s also interesting is the comparison with the slightly later 1:100 VF-1 kit from Arii, which is more slender and taller than the IMAI kit, which appears quite stocky in direct comparison – supported by the massive exoskeleton, though.
I noticed this because of a new comment and I decided to 'bump it' to the top of my photostream. Amazingly, it is the same sweater she was wearing in the Mini driving pix!!
original description:
Do you notice how the sun was high in the sky but she is mostly in the shade and then there is that reflected light on her face?
There was lots of strong sun and strong shade as well as strong reflected light, so I looked for the perfect spot to stand her in the shade but at the edge of the sun with a sunlit cement wall right in front of her to reflect the light onto her. So it is mostly reflected light really on her. But she did not have the patience to 'model' for me as I analyzed light and camera settings and her posture, she said people were looking at her so she just walked away when she had had enough.
The other thing was to have a dark, shaded uncluttered background. So this one was ok.
oh the challenge of being a photographer, you have to keep your fussy model happy while quickly sizing up lighting shade, sun, reflected light, background etc, etc.
DSC08619 I thought this old truck + shed would make a good B&W image particularly as the background was the flat + uncluttered gobi desert and and the impending grey clouds would add drama to the sky - location - back of Ger camp (at Khongor Els) in the Gobi (Mongolia)
- Simple, uncluttered, and functional design--a workstation that looks great against a wall or in the middle of a room.
-Cherry Stained Hardwood Desktop--Large work surface
-Black Hardwood and Metal Sawhorse legs--adjustable to accommodate larger chairs
--Fully assembled but comes apart/together simply for easy transport
-- Purchased in 2009, Original owner, Excellent Condition--a few minor scuffs and scratches that can easily be covered

Well it looked cool in the posing guide ! Only one problem the hunk in the photo had bare arms and bare feet and rippling muscles. So I'm wearing slippers and grey socks with brown trousers. His was a cool uncluttered white background. There are a few bits in mine, not too many though !
The overall design is very clean and the top deck has uncluttered lines. This is a classic manual camera….no batteries required. It offers a shutter priority auto mode as well as full manual.
It has a nice Canon SE 45mm f/1.9 lens and Copal SV shutter giving speeds from 1 second to 1/500 plus B.
The spring this year around actually looks more like fall if you ask me. Here in Germany it wasn't raining that often, so most plants are dry and brown.
This photo was taken during the golden hour while Anja and me were out for a walk with Aaron.
There are not mountains were I come from... just flat lands. So these endless landscapes are perfect for uncluttered compositions. I kneed deep to get Anja and Aaron to be the main subject on the photo (not the road).
The combination of the landscape and the fall feeling gave me this "post war" / outside lifestyle look. Hence the lyrics of the Ink Spots song as the title for the photo.
Taken with my dads good ol' EOS 350d and a Tammy 17-50mm at 50mm.
