The struggle of being an entrepreneur is real

So I have been screwed over by a lot of companies, but honestly this one hurt the worse, because after working together for 4 years these two companies decided to let me go!!! Because I was upset about them waiting to tell me they couldn’t pay me until 2 weeks later and Andrew the general manager at that time saw me cleaning the windows and I literally just gotten started on them for that day, so he waits until he signs the invoice and he’s starting to walk away and I say hey: My check…. ( I was playing it cool, because we’ve never had an issue before of all of the four years that we have work together and up until this point they had been pretty nice to me and they would occasionally forget to send in invoices for Amerigo, so I can get paid which would delay the payments longer than 2 weeks and I had agreed to that for Amerigo but not Char) Andrew knew that from the start and he agreed to pay me as soon as I was done cleaning Char’s windows, so after I already spend hours cleaning Char’s windows this is what he tells me when I ask for my check…. Allen don’t you remember we spoke about this? I said no we did not speak about this Andrew. So he told me that it would be 14 days or 12 days until I got paid and they knew how much I was struggling to stay open as a small business. I mean at the time my van literally kept breaking down I had to rent U-Haul big vehicles and had issues with U-Haul as well and it was just all of this drama at once and they knew about it, but yet they acted like they didn’t care…. so I was undecided about the situation until I went home and started writing a really long email to Andrew talking about all of this that you’re seeing now and about how if they decided to wait to pay me they would have to pay $10 per day late fee and they never paid the fee…. and the manager Andrew was pissed at me for standing up for myself, but I realized no one else is going to do it!!! And then I get a phone call from Ben a part owner of Amerigo and Char who I honestly used to have respect for just the same as Andrew (The fact that I did not mention their last names or try to tag them shows that I am a loving man who is just trying to make a living like everyone else) so Ben goes into this big spiel about how I was wrong and I can no longer clean Char’s windows!!! so I asked him I’m good to clean Amerigo right? and he said we will no longer be needing your services basically and then he tells me if anyone asks will recommend you. That was the end of our conversation. Ben if you end up seeing this all anyone needs you to do is just be a good person and pay your bills on time and if you can’t be honest don’t jerk people’s chain man it’s not nice….

You probably won’t see future post like this from me, because after this I think all future businesses are going to learn do not piss me off I normally keep my mouth shut, but when I’ve been nice and nice and nice and nice and nice and nice for so long I’m going to eventually tell the truth about you, if you don’t change your ways!!!

I am all good with people deciding to go with another service, but when you delay a payment 2 weeks acting like we talked about it I’m not cool with that.

Calvin Harris apparently doesn’t appreciate being called by his stage name. Though we all know him by, well, Calvin Harris — his actual name is Adam Wiles and that’s what he prefers. Especially among his close friends and family.

“No one calls me Calvin,” the superstar DJ is quoted in a new report. “It’s horrible and it’s not my name. You might as well be calling me Mr. Blobby.”

We wouldn’t say it’s “horrible,” but alright then…

“At the start of my career people were meeting me for the first time and I let it slide. It was sort of a nickname.”

But, when a girlfriend was calling him by his stage name, he thought it was taken too far…

“I was like, ‘I’m sorry this is ridiculous. You’re speaking to my alter ego.‘”

Understandably so. Of course, it’s an easy slip up considering Calvin Harris is a typical sounding name. We know Skrillex isn’t Sonny Moore’s name, just like Marshmello is definitely not the name of the masked sugary treat.

Next time you see Adam, make sure you take it easy on his stage name!

Ranveer Singh to appear on Baba Ramdev’s reality TV show

Ranveer Singh seems to be doing it all, from featuring in blockbuster films to ruling the ramp at fashion events, or for that matter even wowing his fans on social networking sites with his antics. Well now we hear that the actor who will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati will also be seen on the small screen.

In fact Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in Baba Ramdev’s upcoming devotional singing reality show Om Shanti Om. However, while the show will be judged by Sonakshi Sinha, Kanika Kapoor and Shekhar Ravjiani with Ramdev acting as the ‘Maha Judge’, Ranveer Singh will feature as the opening act on the show and will also be introducing all of the 14 contestants who will be part of the show.

While the show itself looks to familiarize the younger generation with devotional songs, it will feature its contestants singing bhajans set to contemporary tunes and will be aired on Star’s new channel Star Bharat. Interestingly, Ranveer will be seen performing to the track ‘Gajanana’ from his earlier release Bajirao Mastani while the show itself will be hosted by Aparshakti Khurana.

Everything You Needed to Know About Thumb Sucking by Pure Care

Are you a parent with an infant or toddler who sucks their thumb? We here at Dr. Marchbanks’ office are here to answer the questions you either have or SHOULD be asking!

Most parents understand why children reach for their thumb, but some are new to the world of parenting or otherwise are looking for a refresher on the thumb-sucking phenomenon.

We want to explain this topic through and through: the why and when, the causes and effects, the ways to address the habit, and—if needed—when to be concerned.

Let’s begin!

Why do children suck their thumb?

Thumb sucking in infants actually starts in the womb. Everyone has seen that adorable ultrasound of the baby curled up with its thumb in his or her mouth, right? Thumb sucking is a tactic for these new-to-the-planet babes to “soothe” themselves. Who can blame them?

As a child gets older, thumb sucking doesn’t just allude to soothing an anxiety, but can also be done out of boredom. And for some, it turns into a passive habit that can actually cause damage.

When is thumb sucking the most common?

Thumb sucking can start from the moment a fetus has a thumb to suck. In extreme cases, the habit can continue on until they are about six years old. Most thumb sucking happens from ages 0-3 months and might persist until the age of four.

Which brings us to our next point. When do you need to “intervene?” Studies have shown pressuring your child to stop will only give them more anxiety, which will incite more thumb sucking. So, we advise being careful and empathetic when breaking this habit.

When has it gone on so long that you should be concerned?

As a parent, we recognize that whatever it takes to stop your kids from crying is will sometimes reign over your longer-term concerns about habit development. So, if the child needs to suck his or her thumb, or pacifier, you’ll usually let ‘em at it without a second thought.

But, at a certain point, we have to begin to make gentle efforts to sway our little ones out of using their thumbs for a few reasons:

It does start to get socially awkward at school

Physical changes to oral structures, and

A sore thumb and mouth along with other illnesses

So, how long is too long? Doctors and specialists report that “normal thumb sucking” usually stops around age two. For the little ones who persist, it can last up to age six.

With this habit it’s crucial as a parent to be observant of the triggers that cause “too-long” thumb sucking to assess when intervention is needed. Thumb sucking in toddlers becomes harmful because:

Children start to sprout their baby teeth at 4-7 months old. Prolonged thumb sucking at ages three to six can eventually cause physical and aesthetical changes to the placement of teeth and to their bite.

Habitual sucking can cause a thumb to become sore, and can potentially crack and bleed thanks to the constant exposure to saliva. Even thumb nails can crack, and the finger can get infected.

As children start to attend daycares and schooling, as children get older they begin to recognize what thumb sucking is: an agent to combat social anxiety. And, sadly, there are children who will target others for this and perhaps point it out in the not-so-nicest way.

What physical damage can thumb sucking really cause?

Some of the damage that can be caused by a thumb gone sucked for too long are:

A protruding upper gum

An overbite

Buckteeth

Gapped teeth

Other malocclusions (deep bites)

How does it cause that damage?

The human mouth continues developing until around age 20. Just as the brain is developing, that little mouth is being shaped, literally, by what is put into it. The thumb presses up against the roof of the mouth in children who thumb-suck, and also press against the inside of the upper front teeth as they grow in these formative years.

Expensive cosmetic corrections later on aren’t anyone’s idea of a good time. So, below are some tips to help you curb your little ones’ thumb-sucking.

How to break the habit?

Satisfy the urge to suck.

We recommend starting here, which means starting young. Thumb sucking is evidence of a need—a need for attachment. If not satisfied, thumb sucking becomes a crutch. Fill the need to suck while the baby is young with other toys and options.

Teach other pacifying behaviors

We’re here to remind you that your baby feels what you feel. So, most importantly, try to keep all of your environments as stress-free and peaceful as possible. There will be plenty of other opportunities in life to learn about stress. If your little one has a strong need for stress-sucking, try using other methods to soothe your child like: rocking, massages, playing animated games, or singing. The earlier your child learns other ways to pacify him or herself, the less s/he will seek the comfort of the breast, bottle, thumb or pacifier.

Occupy the thumbs

If your child is past infancy, try to keep those thumbs busy. Bored thumbs wind up in the mouth. If you see it about to happen, redirect, distract, and give the child an activity that keeps both of their hands busy. Or, you can suggest a competing habit if they’re old enough like hiding the thumb game, folding their arms, taking the thumb out of the mouth and squeezing it immediately upon it entering the mouth as a corrective behavior. You could even suggest the gold-star reward system, for when they go a whole day without sucking.

Time your intervention

Ultimately, you want to time your intervention. Assess if the habit is harmful: ferocious sucking, sore thumbs, impending gum and teeth movements—and be gentle. Wait until your son or daughter is in a receptive mood. You wouldn’t want to threaten their independence or make them feel bad!

We want to offer up one last option: come bring your kids to talk to us! Bringing your little ones into our office from a young age can help them understand the importance of their teeth and how oral habits can affect them, good and bad.

While some people see thumb sucking as unsightly, or annoying, we see it as a natural evolution into being a healthy adult. At Dr. Marchbanks’ office we’re happy to take some of the parenting questions off your shoulders by providing our professional know-how!

Sharmila Tagore files complaint to reclaim royal property in Bhopal

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, wife of late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, has filed a complaint on behalf of the Bhopal royal family against the occupants of a prime residential property in the picturesque Koh-e-Fiza area in Bhopal. Following her complaint, the district administration has issued notices to the occupants.

The reports suggest that late cricketer and Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who was the grandson of the last Nawab of Bhopal Hamidullah Khan, was the rightful heir of the royal family of Bhopal’s princely state.

Tehsildar, Bairagarh circle, Ajay Pratap Singh Patel revealed that Sharmila Tagore claimed a few months ago the ownership of the land of Dar-us-Salam, a residential property in Koh-e-Fiza, and urged to get this property evicted. Now, they have served the notices to the present occupants – Azam Khan and Nawab Raza. The names were given to district administration by Sharmila Tagore.

Sharmila Tagore filed a written complaint against these people who are trespassing on her property. The complaint also states that the present occupants have broken locks of the house and stolen precious antiques, articles etc. Not just, Sharmila Tagore has also accused the occupants of forging ownership of the property documents.

If you like Flume, if you like weird bass music, if you like mature electronic music, then I’m not really sure it can get much better than this. Flume’s new mixtape, “Hi This Is Flume,” has arrived in full and it’s nothing short of perfect.

Every time that Flume releases new music, I question just how long he can continue doing what he does. His ability to capture the essence of what makes Flume, “Flume” in an even better way on each consecutive project is possibly the most spectacular evolution to witness in electronic music. From front to back, he is unapologetically himself throughout this entire mixtape. Odd canters and off-beat patterns revolve throughout the atmosphere and justly applied vocals fill the void in between, providing just enough backing for the pulsating rhythms strewn almost carelessly between tracks. I say carelessly, but it’s truly a careless perfection. Like the artist he is, it feels like Flume threw paint at the wall and it just happened to turned out flawless.

At 17 tracks, with just a taste of the right collabs from Eprom (x2, on a remix and an original), SOPHIE, Kučka, JPEG Mafia, and Slowthai, it’s hard to conceive that we may still also get a fully-fledged and more mainstream lilting album from the Aussie this year.

All I have left to say is, enjoy.

Chris Brown has been arrested in Paris, France, according to French police, on accusations of raping an unidentified 24-year-old woman.

According to French magazine Closer, the attack occurred in Brown’s hotel on January 15. The woman is said to have met him at Le Crystal, a nightclub close to the Champs-Élysées. She left the club with Brown, another woman and three other men, after which they went back to his hotel, the Mandarin Oriental. Once in the room, the victim says she was left alone with Brown in his room, he attacked her, and his bodyguard and another man helped Brown abuse her.

Police were notified the following Monday, January 21, and Brown, his bodyguard and another man were arrested.

A police spokesman gave the following statement to the media: “He is accused of rape and is being held at the judicial police offices in the 1st arrondissement. He was arrested with two others on Monday, and interviews and other inquiries are ongoing. The offense is said to have taken place on the night of January 15 this year.”

No statement has been given from Brown’s label, Sony Music, at this time.

Netflix vs Hulu: Spot The Differences Between The Two Fyre Festival Documentaries by Kevin Durkiin

Netflix got its trailer out first, but Hulu beat it to the punch with their own documentary examining the events leading up to and after the tragic Fyre Festival in 2017. Both streaming companies released their own documentaries last week, Fyre Fraud on Hulu and simply Fyre on Netflix.

If you went out this weekend, chances are someone brought up the two docs.

Did you see the Fyre doc?Yeah, the Netflix one. I haven’t seen the Hulu one yet.Ah yeah, I really need to watch the Netflix one. The Hulu one is really good.

Sound familiar?

If you haven’t seen either yet, or only seen one, and you’re wondering if it’s worth it to watch the other or both — it is. Both documentaries cover generally the same timeline and content: from the early days of Billy McFarland’s Magnesis and the Fyre app, for which the festival was supposed to be a promotional outlet, but we know how that turned out; to the weeks and days leading up to the event; to the moment that influencers and attendees arrived and the fallout that followed.

The differences between the docs come from where the footage originated.

Netflix partnered with Vice Media and Fuck Jerry, both of whom were involved in the production of the festival to some extent. Fuck Jerry was hired to do marketing for Fyre and had a dedicated film crew following around production staff, which is how they were able to compile such unique, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

Hulu’s big draw was an exclusive interview with Billy McFarland (which McFarland was actually paid for, a big journalistic ethical no-no). It also used more anecdotal footage from sitcoms and social media, as well as memes and interviews with various journalists.

So which should you watch?

I’m personally a fan of more story-driven content, and Netflix excels in that regard. If you’re looking for more of a fact-driven, actual documentary-style footage, Hulu may be more your cup of tea. Regardless, you’ll get some information in one that you won’t get in the other, and vice versa.

No matter what, the final message to take home is that Fyre Festival was meant to be a promotional vehicle for a consumer/booking app, which ended up taking on a life of its own, and crashed & burned to an incredibly epic degree. It’s astonishing that the festival was allowed to even have a first day. And you probably don’t know the extent of it all until you watch one of these docs.

Dear Member:

By paying the membership fee and abiding by the terms of this Contract, the following services (“Services”)

are available to the Member (“Member”) which is the actual business entity. The Services will be provided

by licensed, practicing attorneys selected by Pre-Paid Legal Casualty, Inc. dba LegalShield (the “Company”).

The attorneys are referred to as the “Provider Law Firm”, “Provider Attorney” or “Referral Attorney”. All requests

for Services must be directed through the Provider Law Firm in a prompt manner to allow sufficient

time for preparation and response. This Contract covers domestic legal matters within the state where the

Member’s principal place of business is located. Matters involving foreign law are not covered. Should the

Member’s principal business location change states, the Provider Law Firm and Company must be notified.

The Member will be transferred to a membership in the new state, if available.

The Member is the business named on the membership application with 50 or fewer employees. The Member

may have only one Employer Identification Number. The Member must be a legal, for profit entity. The

Member may not be a publicly-traded business. Individual employee actions are not included as services of

the Member.

Any reference to “Contract” refers to this Contract between the Member and the Company. All services under

this Contract are part of and are subject to the General Provisions. Please refer to the General Provisions

and other sections of this Contract for the definition of capitalized terms.

The “Effective Date” of the Contract is the date on the membership application or the date the application is

submitted via the internet. If the application is dated more than 14 days prior to when the Company receives

the application, the Effective Date will be the date the application is processed.

The Company may cancel this Contract by giving the Member a 30 day written notice at the Member’s address

according to the records of the Company. This Contract will be terminated immediately for fraud, or

intentional misrepresentation of any facts in the application form or of any matter submitted to the Provider

Law Firm, or an attempt to utilize services for a person or entity not eligible for services pursuant to this

Contract.

PHONE ACCESS

The Member may receive advice about the Member’s legal matters through toll-free phone calls. A consultation

will last as long as the Provider Law Firm deems needed to adequately advise the Member on each

legal matter. The Provider Law Firm will use its Professional Judgment in such instances. If the legal matter

cannot be resolved by the first phone consultation, up to one hour of legal research will be provided.

Further services will be provided at a discount of 25% from the Provider Law Firm’s standard corporate rate.

In obtaining advice, the Designated Spokesperson may call the phone number listed on the membership

card during regular office hours.

Limitations:

1) This Contract excludes coverage for any matter raised an excessive number of times without substantial

change of circumstances.

of this Contract. Legal matters covered under other sections of this Contract will be provided under

that service. The Designated Spokesperson shall speak only with the specific attorney or attorneys handling

those specific issues. This limitation provides the most effective representation of the Member.

3) Legal matters covered under Designated Consultations are not covered under this section.

LETTERS & CALLS

The consulting Provider Attorney will determine when a letter written on behalf of the Member would be of

assistance with a legal matter not specifically covered elsewhere in this Contract. The first such letter for

each non-related legal subject matter per Membership Year will be written at no additional charge. If a response

changes. Each review of a document after the first review shall count as a separate document review

toward the annual total of 30. If legal services are required beyond the basic document review including, but

discount of 25% from the Provider Law Firm’s standard corporate rate. Advice and comment on documents

in excess of 15 consecutive pages or documents beyond six in a month or 30 per year will be provided at a

discount of 25% from the Provider Law Firm’s standard corporate rate.

DEBT COLLECTION LETTERS

The Member may use this Service only after demand for payment has been unsuccessful. The Provider Law

Firm may write up to 10 separate, initial collection letters per month at no charge. A follow-up letter may be

available based on response. Additional collection letters will be provided at a discount of 25% from the Provider

Law Firm’s standard corporate rate. The Provider Law Firm may require additional documents and other

written authorization as necessary before proceeding with Services as part of this section.

TRIAL DEFENSE

The Provider Law Firm will provide an annual sum of 75 hours of attorney time for all covered lawsuits in a

Membership Year. This time will be used for all lawsuits in which the Member is the named defendant in a

covered civil action. The covered lawsuit must be related to the Member’s business activities and filed in a

state or federal district court. Of the total of 75 hours of attorney time, a maximum of 15 hours will be provided

at no extra charge for any and all legal services rendered in defense of all covered lawsuits prior to

the actual trial. Such legal services include conferences with associated parties and their attorneys or

agents, phone conversations or other efforts to settle cases, arbitration, pre-trial conferences, settlement

conferences prior to trial, courts appearances, interrogatories, depositions, briefs and pleadings. The remaining

60 hours shall be available for actual trial time.

Total Services provided under Trial Defense shall not exceed the annual sum per membership amount of 75

hours.

Exclusions (this Service does not cover defense of the following items):

1) Claims or charges relating to worker’s compensation, inquiries or actions by a government agency,

bankruptcy or alcohol, drugs, substance abuse, chemical abuse or dependency.

2) Class actions, amicus curiae filings or interventions filed in which the Member is a party or potential party.

3) Pre-existing Conditions: Pre-existing Conditions are defined as those acts which give rise to a lawsuit

which are alleged to have occurred prior to the Member’s enrollment, even though the lawsuit was not filed

until after such date.

4) Any claim for which the Provider Law Firm cannot substantiate a defense.

5) Garnishment, attachment or any other post-judgment relief action. The Provider Law Firm will provide

services in accordance with the Contract up to the point of final judgment by the court of record.

6) Any claim or charge where the Member has access to coverage by an insurance policy.

The Trial Defense section is a part of and is subject to all General Provisions of this Contract.

REDUCED FEE SERVICES

Services for litigation representation and other legal work within the Member’s state of the principal place

of business are available at a 25% reduction from the Provider Law Firm’s standard corporate rate. This

discount does not apply to legal services rendered pursuant to the Designated Consultations section of this

Contract, contingency fee cases or fees set by the court.

REDUCED CONTINGENCY FEE SERVICES

The Member may receive up to a five percent discount from the Provider Law Firm’s standard contingency

fee for legal representation on those matters normally handled on a contingency fee basis. The Provider

Law Firm and the Designated Spokesperson will agree to the discount for each given legal service. The

Designated Spokesperson must have legal authority to bind the Member. This agreement must be made

prior to start of said services. This agreement is subject to the terms of the Attorney-Client Contract.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

A. Designated Spokesperson: The Member shall designate, in writing, up to three spokespersons to

speak with the Provider Law Firm. The Designated Spokespersons must be employees, owners, partners

or officers. The Designated Spokespersons must have authority to legally bind the Member. In the

event a Designated Spokesperson is no longer associated with the Member for any reason, the Member

must notify the Company. If the formerly Designated Spokesperson was speaking with the Provider Law

Firm about an on-going legal matter, the Member should also advise the Provider Law Firm. If the Provider

Law Firm is not made aware of Designated Spokesperson changes, the attorney and firm are not

responsible for any legal issue that may result.

B. Availability of Services: For any matter involving both the Member and an owner or Designated

Spokesperson, only the Member may use the Services. The Member may use the Services outlined in

this Contract only to the point such Services are available and permitted by the laws of the state having

jurisdiction over the legal matter.

C. Entire Agreement: This Contract and the Member’s application shall form the entire contract between

the parties.

D. Provider Law Firm: The Provider Law Firm is an attorney or law firm who has contracted with the Company

to provide the Services described in this Contract. This does not require all legal Services under the

Contract to be performed by the Provider Law Firm. The Provider Law Firm or the Company, under certain

circumstances, may refer matters to a referral attorney (“Referral Attorney”). Referral Attorney and Provider

Attorney may collectively be referred to in this Contract as the Provider Law Firm. The Provider Law Firm

may be contacted directly at the number provided on your membership card. Information as to how legal

services may be obtained is available by calling your Provider Law Firm or by writing the Company at P.O.

Box 145, Ada, OK 74821-0145 or by calling the Company at 1-800-654-7757.

E. Native American Legal Issues Exclusion: Native American legal issues are excluded from Services.

Such issues include legal matters before federal, tribal and/or state courts. This includes, but is not limited

to, administrative bodies, arbitration panels or arbitrators, tribunals and/or hearing panels, judges or officers.

F. Eligibility Period: The Eligibility Period begins on the Effective Date of the Contract. The Eligibility Period

will cease without notice if the Company cancels the plan for fraud. Should the Member cancel the

Contract, either in writing or by non-payment of membership fees, the Eligibility Period shall cease on the

date the membership is no longer paid current to the Company. The Member has a 30 day grace period to

pay all past due fees in order to keep the Contract without a lapse in Services.

G. Membership Year: The Membership Year shall be defined as the period of time beginning on the Effective

Date of the Contract, extending for a period of one year, and each one year period thereafter.

H. General Exclusions: The following items are excluded from this Contract. These items shall not be

included under any provision of this Contract:

1. Any matter, issue, consultation, action, proceeding or dispute between the Member and any owner

of the business. Any issue which raises or could raise a conflict between any owner or Designated

Spokesperson and the Member. Any issue between any owner and any Designated Spokesperson

which affects the Member.

2. Fines, court costs, filing fees, ad litem fees, penalties, expert witness fees, bonds, bail bonds and

out-of-pocket expenses.

3. Any person or entity that starts or joins in a lawsuit against the Company or any of its subsidiaries

or affiliates shall be excluded from any legal Services of this Contract. Any person or entity that is

named as a defendant or respondent in a lawsuit started by the Company or any of its subsidiaries or

affiliates shall be excluded from receiving any of the legal Services of this Contract during such lawsuit

or until its outcome.

4. Any matter, issue, consultation, action, proceeding, lawsuit or dispute between the Member and the

Provider Law Firm or the Member and the Company.

5. Any matter which the Provider Law Firm decides is resolved or has been raised an unreasonable

number of times without a vast change of circumstance.

6. Any matters which are covered by any insurance policy.

I. Attorney-Client Contract and Representation: Any Services which require payment of anticipated

costs shall be subject to the terms of an Attorney-Client Contract. This Attorney-Client Contract is to be

agreed upon by the Member and the Provider Law Firm prior to the time Services are rendered. The

Provider Law Firm will decide all retainers and anticipated costs to be paid by the Member. When applicable,

eligibility for receipt of Services under the Contract is contingent upon payment of such retainers

and anticipated costs prior to the start of legal representation. All Services and legal representation will

be limited to those available under this Contract. The Provider Law Firm has no duty or relationship beyond

the Services in this Contract.

J. Provider Law Firm’s Professional Judgment: The Company will in no way attempt to influence or affect

the Provider Law Firm’s judgment in any matter. The Provider Law Firm will make the decision whether

to accept any case, including a contingency case, or whether to appeal any judgment or legal decision. The

Provider Law Firm will select the defense, as permitted by law, to be used for any legal matter.

K. Examination Right: The Member shall have 10 days after delivery to examine the Contract. If not satisfied

for any reason, the Member may send written notice rescinding the Contract and have the paid membership

fee refunded. Upon the delivery of written notice of rescission of the Contract to the Company within

10 days of delivery, the Contract shall be void from the beginning and the parties shall be in the same position

as if this Contract had not been issued.

L. Cancellation of Contract: The Member may cancel this Contract either by non-payment of the membership

fees or upon notice to the Company by the Designated Spokesperson with legal authority to bind the

Member. The Company may cancel this Contract by giving the Member a 30 day written notice at the Member’s

address according to the records of the Company. This Contract will be terminated immediately for

fraud, or intentional misrepresentation of any facts in the application form or of any matter submitted to the

Provider Law Firm, or an attempt to utilize services for a person or entity not eligible for services pursuant to

this Contract. In the event of cancellation or termination by the Company, the Member, upon written request,

shall be entitled to be reimbursed by the Company the unused portion of the membership fees paid for this

Contract, the amount to be calculated on a pro-rata basis over the period of the Contract. In the event of

cancellation by the Company, Services will only be provided for those matters reported in writing to the Provider

Law Firm during the Eligibility Period.

M. Settlement of Disputes: All disputes or claims relating to the Company; this Contract; any Company

products or services; any claims or causes of action between the Member, the Company, and any of the

Company’s officers, directors, employees or affiliates, whether in tort or contract, shall be settled by arbitration

according to the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, including the

optional rules for emergency measures of protection. If the Member files a claim or counterclaim against

the Company or any of its officers, directors, employees or affiliates in any such arbitration, it may do so

only on an individual basis and not with any other Member.

N. Mutual Cooperation: The Member and Company shall work together with the Provider Law Firm to provide

effective legal service. At all times, the Member shall act with professionalism and mutual respect.

O. Change of Contract: No change in the Contract shall be valid until approved by an officer of the Company

and endorsed on or attached to the Contract. No agent or sales associate has authority to change the

Contract or to waive any of its provisions. A 30 day notice will be given should there be any change in this

Contract.

P. Reinstatement Procedure: The Member may reinstate this Contract after cancellation if the contract

is still offered by the Company. The Company, at its option, may reinstate this Contract upon payment by

the Member of the appropriate fee. The Effective Date of the reinstatement and availability of Services

shall be the date the reinstatement is accepted and processed by the Company. Services are not available

for any act or occurrence during the lapse period.

Q. Change in Fees: The Company has the right to change the fee for this membership. Changes in the

membership fee will only occur after the current payment period has expired. Should the fee be changed,

the Member will be given a 30 day written notice.

R. Severability: If any provision of this Contract is deemed invalid or unenforceable in any respect, such

provision shall be, to the extent possible, reformed to make it effective. If any provision is deemed invalid

and incapable of being reformed, it shall not impact the validity and enforceability of all other provisions of

this Contract, which shall remain valid and enforceable.

S. Release of Information: Any Member submitting to the Company complaints or inquiries about a Provider

Attorney’s services gives the Provider Law Firm permission to give to the Company any and all communications

between the Member and the Provider Attorney. All communications includes privileged and

confidential information. This information is needed in order to respond to such complaints or questions.

T. Adequate and Timely Notice: The Member must send the Provider Law Firm adequate facts, required

documents and authorizations in a timely manner to receive services. A Trial Defense matter must be reported

to the Provider Law Firm within 10 days of receiving first notice of the matter. Failure to timely submit

adequate documents and facts to the Provider Law Firm shall render any obligation of the Provider Law Firm

to enter an appearance in the matter, or to provide any other Services, null and void.

1 Killed, 1 Wounded Following Brawl & Shooting Outside Chicago Nightclub by Kevin Durkiin

Two people were shot during a street fight outside of Sound Bar nightclub in Chicago early Friday morning. One, a 28-year-old employee of the venue, was killed, and another wounded.

According to Chicago police, a brawl began in a nearby alley around 12 am. One man involved with the conflict pulled out a handgun and unleashed several rounds. He hit Thurman Bailey who worked in the nightclub and a 58-year-old man who “was associated with the business.”

Bailey died of multiple gunshot wounds around 1 am after being rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The older man took himself into the same hospital and was treated for bullet fragments in his leg and arm. He’s expected to recover.

The suspect was described as a “male wearing a green puffy jacket and a black hat.” Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the authorities immediately.

It’s been more than a month long since I’ve last posted about coffee as life has been giving surprises and thus taking some time. There have been lot of things going on that kept me a little away from me being a coffeeholic for a while. Within the same time, I’ve been hearing a lot about Nespresso Creatista Plus and so, thought of getting close with this beast to show you our side of assessment.

Creatista can be said as a new line of espresso makers by Nespresso (along with Breville), that are advanced and feature rich by their predecessors.

Why Creatista Plus

Nespresso in their old days was all about making machines for creating espresso’s and black coffee. When the brand saw demand for milk based drinks, it started combining the Aeroccino Plus external frother with it’s successful models like Inissia and Pixie. It did the work, but it was not up to mark if you are somewhat serious about perfect milk and latte art.

Creatista is for people who want hassle free Latte experience in a matter of few minutes without much fuzz all around.

The brand is already among the most popular ones in the coffee industry but the lack of perfect frothing was letting many customer choose another brand. The Smart Wand

While there have been several reports doing the rounds about the forthcoming film of Shah Rukh Khan, here is a major revelation about the same. While we told you that next with Aanand L. Rai finally received its title and the film will be called Batlaa. We have come to now know that is one of titles that is being considered is Batlaa. While co-producers Red Chillies, had registered Batlaa, some people from the creative team felt it might sound a bit uncool hence they have registered three more titles very recently and will decided one soon. These titles are Dwarf, Bauna (dwarf in Hindi) and Zero.

The film was originally titled Batlaa since Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the role of a dwarf. Aanand L. Rai recently during an interview had stated that while the film was often being referred to as the dwarf film, he maintained that it is beyond the character of a dwarf and is a story about a man and woman. Bauna, Dwarf and Zero are also being considered as titles and finally Rai may just leave it to the fans to decide which to go with.

Ever since its inception, this film has had many speculations around it from the title to leading ladies to news about SRK playing a double role. While the filmmaker denied all the reports about the superstar’s double role, it was later also unveiled that Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will be playing leading ladies in the film. Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan’s last release Jab Harry Met Sejal too featured Anushka Sharma as his leading lady.

As for this one, the other details of the film continue to be kept under wraps. It has also been learnt that the film will be heavy on VFX and will require extensive work on that front.

Rai’s film, which went on floor just a few months ago, is expected to release next year.

Carrie Fisher – who died in 2016 – will be featured in ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’, using scenes from ‘The Force Awakens’ that weren’t released

The late actress – who passed away in 2016 at the age of 60 – was believed to have made her final outing as Leia Organa in 2017’s ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, which was released posthumously and was filmed before her untimely death.

However, Disney and Lucasfilm have now revealed that Carrie will feature in the closing instalment of the main movie series, using scenes that had been shot for 2015’s ‘The Force Awakens’ but were previously unreleased.

In a statement obtained by Variety magazine, director J.J. Abrams said of the decision to feature Carrie: “Finding a truly satisfying conclusion to the Skywalker saga without her eluded us. We were never going to recast, or use a CG character. With the support and blessing from her daughter, Billie, we have found a way to honour Carrie’s legacy and role as Leia in Episode IX by using unseen footage we shot together in Episode VII.”

The movie giants also revealed Billy Dee Williams will be reprising his role as Lando Calrissian in the final feature, whilst Mark Hamill will become Luke Skywalker for one last time, despite his character seemingly meeting his end in last year’s eighth instalment.

Other returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd.

Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant have also joined the cast, though their roles are not yet known.

It had previously been reported that Keri Russell was in talks to take on a role in the production, and Variety confirmed on Friday (27.07.18) that she has now closed her deal to join the film.

The use of Carrie’s unreleased scenes comes after Disney and Lucasfilm insisted early last year they wouldn’t be using CGI to recreate her likeness for the upcoming movie.

They said in a statement: “We want to assure our fans that Lucasfilm has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher’s performance as Princess or General Leia Organa.

“Carrie Fisher was, is, and always will be a part of the Lucasfilm family. She was our princess, our general, and more importantly, our friend. We are still hurting from her loss. We cherish her memory and legacy as Princess Leia, and will always strive to honour everything she gave to Star Wars.”

In one recent quarter, Alphabet generated $27.2 billion in advertising revenue. The company also has around $102 billion in cash and marketable securities, and its debt is less than $4 billion.

McDonald’s

This company also has international name recognition. McDonald’s is best known for its hamburgers and fries, but the company makes its money on its franchise business model and on the real estate that has a McDonald’s restaurant. McDonald’s has a 2017 operating margin of 41.9%, which is higher than Alphabet’s 2017 operating margin of 26.1%. The company has $8 billion in before-tax income and $2.7 billion in cash-on-hand. This difference is the result of McDonald’s paying its shareholders a current dividend yield of 2.38%. McDonald’s has increased its dividend for 42 straight years, which is a sign of its cash cow status.

Philip Morris International

Tobacco and cigarettes may be out of fashion, but this hasn’t had too much of an effect on Philip Morris’s bottom line. In fact, when Philip Morris was a part of Altria, its stock was the top performing stock from 1965 to 2015, which includes dividend payments. Philip Morris has name recognition with its top-selling cigarette Marlboro, the cigarettes are inexpensive to make, and they are highly addictive. The company’s 2017 operating margin was 15.3% despite the high international excise tax and burdensome regulations. Without the excise tax and regulations, Philip Morris’s operating margins would be around 40%.

The case against Sooraj Pancholi, accused of abetting the suicide of his actor girlfriend Jiah Khan in June 2013, will proceed in lower court. The Mumbai High Court on Thursday clarified that a lower court can proceed with the trial against actor Sooraj Pancholi in regards to his former girlfriend’s suicide case.

On Thursday, August 31, a division bench of Justices R M Savant and Sandeep Shinde passed the order while hearing heard the petition filed by Jiah Khan’s mother Rabiya Khan. Rabiya Khan had sought an appointment of advocate Dinesh Tiwari as special public prosecutor in the case. The Mumbai High Court bench said it would hear Rabiya Khan’s plea on September 11. In the meantime, the HC said the trial can proceed, on a plea by additional solicitor general Anil Singh who requested the court to clarify whether the trial could now proceed.

Actress Jiah Khan, who has starred in Nishabd and Ghajini, had committed suicide on June 3, 2013. Then, her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was arrested for abetting her suicide on June 10, 2013. On July 2, the same year, the HC granted him bail. The case was transferred to the CBI by the HC in July 2014 on Rabia Khan’s petition that claimed that the police was not probing it properly.

The CBI, then, filed a charge sheet in the case and booked Sooraj Pancholi on abetment charges. Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan, once again, filed a petition in the court seeking a Special Investigation Team to be set up to probe the case afresh.

The talented actress Neena Gupta, who has films like Gandhi and Khalnayak to her credit, has been roped in for Anubhav Sinha’s next film Mulk which is being produced by Benaras Media Works.

It has been learned that Neena Gupta will essay the role of Rishi Kapoor’s wife in the film and has begun her training for the role already. This is the first time Neena Gupta and Rishi Kapoor will be teaming up together for an on-screen camaraderie.

Neena Gupta took to social media a few months ago to request for work and had shared a picture on Instagram with the caption – “I live in Mumbai and working, am a good actor looking for good parts to play”. As a self-sufficient National Award winning actress, writer, and director, her words become an inspiration for many, including Priyanka Chopra.

Neena Gupta states, “I met Anubhav at a time when I was desperately seeking quality work. It was a really thoughtful gesture on his part to reach out to me at a time when I was undergoing this inner turmoil. Mulk is a phenomenal film and I’m quite excited to be a part of this experimental film.”

Director and producer Anubhav Sinha says, “I have always been a fan of Neena Gupta’s work and she fits the requirement of the role perfectly. After I saw her Instagram post, I didn’t hesitate at all to pick the phone on her because there are some people in the industry who are timeless and she is one of them. I couldn’t, for the longest time, find anyone who could match the description of the role maybe she was destined to be a part of it. A social thriller based on true life events, Mulk that will go on floors in October and features Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar and Rajat Kapur. The film will be shot in Varanasi and Lucknow and is scheduled to release early next year. Screenplay writer-producer Mushtaq Shiekh will be the associate producer of Mulk. The plot of the film revolves around the story of a joint family who hails from a small town in India, who are out to reclaim their honour after being embroiled in a controversy.
