Awakened Citizen Program for Grade 6
The importance of value education in formative years of life cannot be undermined. CBSE has therefore made it mandatory to impart value education in schools. It has approved and advocated the incorporation of the Awakened Citizen Program in associated schools. The aim is for students not only to understand the values, but also to reflect them in their attitudes and behaviour and contribute to society through good citizenship and ethics. Udgam School for Children also implemented the program for Grade 6 and the response of students has been heartening. It was heart-warming to find students beautifully expressing that they have started believing in themselves. Diya R. Parikh and Shanay S.Shah of 6A said that they now make a conscious effort to respect everyone irrespective of their personal background. Hiyah V. Dhori of 6A said that the program has helped her to be heroic and passionate about everything she does. Aaryan Shah from the same class was happy that he has learnt to be focused and doesn’t take shortcuts as he now believes in working hard and seeking perfection. The key message of the program is that everyone has infinite strength, infinite potential, and infinite goodness. It does not impose any dos and don’ts, but enables children to develop faith in themselves, discover values and make responsible choices.

Udgam Intra School Online GK Quiz Competition was conducted for the students of Class 6 to 9 on 14th June. The opening round was held on 7th June. Top 50 students from each class made it to the Grand Finale. The final round of the finale was performed by top four finalists, of which we had three winners. The students participated enthusiastically and the quiz held much appreciation from parents. We announce the winners of all classes and hearty congratulate them. International Commerce Olympiad Certificate and Prize Money
Shreya Tibrewal of class XII (2018-‘19 batch ) secured the All India 2nd rank in the International Commerce Olympiad, which was conducted on 30th November,2018. Due to some personal reasons, she couldn’t attend the felicitation ceremony held in 2019, however, on February 5th, Ms. Shreya received her award and the certificate along with the prize money.
