Many argue over the dynamics of Mac vs. PC, I am sure that there are many good issues for both. But what I choose to run my computer is a Linux distro (distribution) called Ubuntu. One benefit that it has over the other two is that it is very secure. Oh, and it is free too! ;-) This is my first video upload to Flickr, wanted to see how it looked.
What you see happening is a program called Miro playing a PBS video of NOVA while another 'window' has Freecell, and a system monitor program running. You can 'slide' from one window to the other all while having that window do the shake and roll ;-)
Video Editing is being taught all the time in some schools (I had to do a project using a video editor last year, by the way). This is my video editor of choice, since it's easy to use, handles all formats of music and video supported by ffmpeg (a project that aims to provide encoders/decoders for every format ever, as well as ways to manipulate said formats), and lots more. go to kdenlive.org/ if you want to learn more.
