I finally got Ubuntu linux running today, after over a year of trying to get it to work on my computer (didnt realize the installer had a partitioning tool built in, so I didn't actually have to spend a year trying to get Vista's stupid partitioner to do it). Just in case anyone cared about my computer (I'm guessing thats a no)
Ubuntu, a linux interface loaded on my PowerBook G4 laptop. Now when I boot I am offered the opportunity to boot OSX, Linux, or a CD/DVD. Using linux expands the abilities of my Mac and gives me something new to learn. It offers me the opportunity to use great software without worrying about breaching copyright.
