buggy Buggy B U G G Y !
Couldn't wait for Febroverary to post this.
M3(Y3R5) 'M-4NX' moon buggy has reverse tandem seating for driver and comms expert - Driver faces forward, Comms rearward. Perfect for moon roving, or as Surf transport back on Terra.

The UTV Bolon T'sakab, missing, presumed lost with all hands in August 2721 following an apparently undercalculated Krasnikov tube manoeuvre in Sector G-12. It remains unknown what prompted the rushed and therefore risky translation in into fluxspace. The region has since remained uneventful for over 77,000 megaseconds, with no unscheduled causality violations noted to date. G-12 is now deemed safe for the resumption of conventional drive traverses for both military and non-military vehicles. Fluxspace insertion in the sector is closed until further notice.

Last night I set out on an attempt to capture the first ‘Hunter’s Moon of 2019’ at the 'UTV Television Broadcasting Tower' overlooking the town of Strabane. This 100% full hunter's moon happens rarely only a few nights per year. It took me a while to capture correctly, showing a Silhouette of this local iconic broadcasting tower with its red lights in the foreground whilst trying to retain some of the moon’s details in the background, in one single capture. If this was an actual ladder to the moon would you climb it? I certainly would!
Native American tribe folklore named it ‘Hunter’s Moon’ because it coincided with the time to go hunting in preparation for winter. After the harvest, animals would come to the fields for scraps. With this full moon it was easier to see deer and other animals and successfully hunt in the darkness. This ‘Hunter Moon’ only happens during October or November each year depending on other variables 🌝

I wanted to make one of these for the longest time, and a sudden spur of the moment building session produced this.
Mostly based around the MRZR with some creative liberties here and there.
Where this thing's going, it doesn't need roads.
Powered by Banana skins and flat cola.

While out for a walk on the hiking trail at Beaver Dunes I watched several UTV's having some fun.

PATH UTV 14 (Plasser American PMC 50) is seen sitting at Harrison Station, awaiting track maintenance workers to return from lunch break. In the background, UTV 15 can also be seen further down the platform. These prime movers are commonly seen laid up in the Harrison Car Maintenance Facility, but are uncommon to see out on the system!
I took a visit down to The Ride today, as I had time to kill, to have a look at the new Enviro 200MMC's destined for Exeter. These look stunning as always for an ADL product! Shame the build quality always lets them down. YX68 UTW and UTV are the first two that have been delivered and they are awaiting preparation for service

The service life for this classic has come to an end as she was stored in January 2014, after many years of flight beginning with Japan Airlines in 1985, and Orient Thai in 2009.
An ex-JAL 743 that was originally delivered to JAL in February 1985, and then later started flying for Orient Thai from September 2009 onwards up until storage in 2014.
The classics have been retired from Orient Thai leaving them left with the -400s in the 747 line.

Last week I bought me Quad that I'm going to use for my landscape explorations and photography. I couldn't imagine a better dirtbike within my current reach, one that pulls me out of muddy fields and rough surfaces from the plethora of wetlands we got here.
I've putted 'm to a test-drive this Sunday afternoon while weather conditions were dull, gray and very wet! I grabbed me old boots, old jeans and old coat and jumped on this little mud monster. Brrrrrbbbllll.... boy did I got dirty! But at least I was pleasantly surprised about its capabilities, even thought it doesn't even have the heaviest wild horse power engine on the market.
While test-driving the quad I even grabbed the change to shoot some pictures along with it. Yeah I know this isn't the best quality you can get on a wet gray day, so I decided to screw them up some more with dodging & burning, some wild tone adjustments, filters and curves :)

Not often I put up a second shot of the same subject, but I thought it was different enough to get away with.
I would love one of these statues in our garden, not even fussed about which one as I like them all!
Reckon I could get the film crew to make a slight diversion up the hill with their JCB, think it might cause a bit of a stir in Castlerock LOL.
I have decided come what may, I am going to be at the filming as I am intrigued with what they are going to do with the statues.
They have put up spaced out posts (with gas lines running to each post) into what will be the sea as I know it will be an ebb tide when they are filming.
I also know the backs come off the statues and they have all kinds of electrical stuff in them (yeah I know, I am very nosy!!).
Visions of them in the sea with them ablaze!!
Will have to watch the filming to see if I am right and give away all the secrets for the next series!!!

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) is one of the largest remaining municipal bus companies and is regarded as one of the best operators in the UK. In the early 1960’s City of Nottingham Transport as it was then developed a very strong corporate identity with an attractive “two tone” green livery and its own distinct standard double deck bus body specification for rear engined, front loading buses. 217 (UTV 217S) is one of a batch of fourteen Damiler Fleetliner FE30AGR chassis’s which entered service in late 1977, early 1978 and is fitted with a Northern Counties H47/31D body. It is seen here in Angle Row, Nottingham, 16th April 1980. Following its service with NCT it became an open top tour bus operated by Guide Friday in Oxford and was re-registered GJZ 9576 late in its career. It was broken up in August 2007.
