OCALA- In celebration of the Shucker's Oyster Bar's customer appreciation; in Ocala, FL located at 408 SW 16th St Ocala, FL 34471 Phone: (352) 867-8344, everyone came out and enjoyed the live entertainment provided by a local band, Niche. Everyone was out having a blast enjoying the new services and changes the new owners of Shucker's (Chip Brown and Kathy Brown) have been providing over the past few months. Let's just say, they have done a wonderful job in providing over-the-top satisfaction to this venue's new and existing customer's whom returned for several years and some decades. The new ownership has been such a success and will be attracting customers for years to come.

Ruins just south of Stein Inn on the Isle of Skye.
After touring the Isle of Skye all day we called our hosts at Dunvegan Inn and asked where would be a good place to eat dinner between Borve and Dunvegan. They suggested Stein Inn, and it was a very good suggestion. We had to eat in the bar area, seated on low seats with a low table for our food. Finally we saw lamb on the menu and all wanted the same meal. However, the waiter said there was only one of those available, but they had another lamb item on the menu the other two of us could have. Marjorie and I decided to reward the drive, Will, with the one we had all wanted. Turns out his was amazingly tender, moist, and succulent. Ours were OK compared to his.
When we were leaving Marjorie saw the waiter leave with a dish of what we had all wanted, but there wasn't enough of. He saw her looking at the plate and at least looked shame-faced as he sat at the picnic table outside.

A skate park created in 1997 under the I-90 freeway in Spokane, Washington. The graffiti drew me in.
THIS NORTHERN type was one of five especially designed to handle passenger traffic over the Continental Divide. The ruling grade eastbound from Minturn to Tennessee Pass at the top of the divide is 3.0 per cent and westbound from Pueblo to the pass it is 1.42 per cent. Over this Royal Gorge Route, a distance of 745 miles, these 4-8-4's handled the Western Pacific's crack passenger trains such as the Scenic Limited, operating at speeds up to 80 miles an hour in the Salt Lake district.

though i'm not paranoid, i do have a fairly solid backup regime for all my photos, projects, and my meticulously ripped music collection. on a regular basis (no later than once every two weeks), i run a few batch scripts that first rsync important parts of my C drive (mainly my firefox and thunderbird profile folders, as well as my main windows user account folder) to the internal 1TB drive, and then rsync that whole drive to the 1TB external USB backup drive. (if i WAS paranoid i'd then take that USB drive to a remote location and rotate it with another USB drive...but i'm not quite there yet)
for rsyncing on windows i use the excellent cwRsync, but modified with UTF-8 cygwin dll to handle files/folders with non-latin characters.
