Loved re-connecting with this beauty, both through the amps and unplugged.

A different Ring-billed Gull (Larus delawarensis) judging by the shape of is head, Kelowna Downtown Marina, Kelowna, BC. No his bill is NOT broken; it's just the way the light caught that spot....

I hope folks get the double entendre of the title....

The transporter console, without lights, Shatner in costume inside the chamber, and what appears to be a camera dolly mat on the floor of the transporter, perhaps to protect the surface of the lenses as well as allowing the camera to roll more freely. I would guess this shot is some part of the effects treatment from the conclusion of The Enemy Within during the recombination sequence. This green cross tunic was worn by Shatner at the end of the episode (the yellow collar banded shirt was worn in most of the story). An interesting shot both due to the "transporter unplugged" and the presence of the mat.

Easy lesson in how to get from Point A to Point B, NAIA. Awaiting clearance to the cone, levitation and hover, and await further clearance at the cone (heli-spot).

At times I despair at the amount of attention many children give to focusing either on a TV, phone, or tablet. While using computing devices is a necessity in this day and age, I feel that too much usage causes a disconnect from the real world...

...which is another reason why I send my children to Camp Champions. It's 3 weeks of *ZERO* electronics (even e-readers aren't allowed...kids must bring *paper* books). That and it's a superb Camp operated by outstanding Staff. Having gone there as a Camper and worked there as a Counselor has also had an influence on sending my boys there ;-)

Boys are there now; back in about two weeks.

My Dad is a carpenter. When I was a kid I went to work with him in the summers. This is how he taught me to plug in extension cords so they won't come unplugged no matter how hard you pull.

Today is my last day at Marketing Drive, and all I can think about is how much of a privilege it has been working with such a classy & talented group of people. It’s a sad day, but also the start of something that I hope will be great. Much love to MD!

A rare forray into the Macro world for me, but perhaps I may stray this way more often. Such an array of subjects in miniature out there, it's really opened my eyes to the hidden often unseen world around me. Not to mention the every day objects that take on a different persona when viewed through the end of the lens.
