It's so refreshing to see kids playing together in the street away from electronics, just like it was when I was a kid.
Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves.
Who can spare a day without an internet? Anyone? Not for me! I can’t afford to let loose of this Flickr addiction! Yippee! Haha!

sometimes it's good to just unplug, take a break, disconnect from your currently reality
as for me it's another painting day. one more room to go..thankfully can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

580ex into umbrella camera left. Sun coming through a window camera right. Xmas lights coming out of this guy's homemade newsprint hat. This guy is a weirdo. But he bought me a Canon 5D and a bunch of L glass, so I kind of feel obligated to take photographs of him when he's in the mood.
I extended the black background on this. I couldn't get the umbrella as close to the face as I wanted and still have all that black, so I shot it with the black background and added the extra black to the left.

I have been musically unplugged for too long. No longer will I disallow music to motivate and stir my mind and my emotions. I will compile, write, translate, research, study, work - all with beats urging me onward to completion.
