When 2016 rolled around, myself and many others were already feeling the G2 fatigue of overpriced and deeply-flawed sets. And so it came to be that I picked up several of the other Uniters out of a weary obligation rather than a genuine desire, mostly just glad to buy a BIONICLE in-store once again. My ambivalence towards the wave was especially true in the case of Lewa, who felt to have compromised articulation and proportions for the sake of his unique build. With many members of the fandom celebrating his inventive legs and versatile frame, I was not so convinced.
So, after a year of tweaking several revamp iterations, I finally managed to create a version of the set that I was happy with! It brings me great satisfaction to finally be able to showcase a revamp of a set that I initially disliked. I hope I have done him justice.
A Uniter revamp for Kopaka. Took several attempts to get something I was happy with.
The shield gave me particular trouble, but I ended up using the design of Jaller53.

A batch of Arriva buses I do remember were the Scania Paladins, which I caught a couple of times out of Burton on the 1 prior to Midland Classic taking over the town. Very fast vehicles from memory, also nice and warm on a winters day!!
R417TJW is now ran by union group Unite, pictured at Showbus 2018 looking great for it's age.
To be a child again, to be able to play free in the playground without a worry in the world; wouldn't that be nice?
Très tôt ce matin les gros becs errant se tenait très proche dans ma cours et il était plus facile de les approcher avec ce froid de -40 celcius et nous sommes présentement sous une vague de froid intense à travers tout le Québec GRRRRRRRRR c'est vraiment froid !
Very early this morning wandering large beaks stood very close in my backyard and it was easier to approach with this cold -40 celcius and we are currently under intense cold wave across Quebec grrrrrrrrr is really cold!
We get a call from the limeys. One's been shot, the other got a chandelier dropped on them, and apparently Patton didn't even do any sniping like he was supposed to....but they got him. General Zaroff is dead. Mr. Davao, Mykhailo, The Doc and I drive off to Fort Kozaczuk. Apon arrival the limeys run off with the doc to tend to their wounds. Patton stays around with us though, saying all the personnel on the base has been gathered, no trouble at all. For some reason he had this officer's cap from WWII, It;s a straight up Nazi hat that Zaroff apparently wore. Could these poor men be any stuck deeper in the past? We meet them all in one of the fort's snowy fields. All looking sick, tattered and worn out. How we're gonna get these shells of men to fight with us, I don't know. Anything's worth a shot now though, I guess. There's a large rock for us to stand above them, so we head up. There's only one person here who can even remotely get through to them, though.
"You gotta speak, junior."
M: "M-me?"
"Yeah, you. You're one of them."
M: "Mr. Wilson, I---I can't!....."
"You gotta do it. For your country. For your people..."
Poor kid loses all the color in his face. He stands stationary for a good 5-6 seconds before nervously stepping forward, but not before taking Zaroff's cap from Patton and holding onto it with both hands, which were shaking. He looks out towards the crowd. The entire fort was looking back. His heart's either in his colon or his trachea by now. Finally, in the language of his land, he spoke. Never could I have been more glad to understand it.
M: ".........Soldiers....men of Fort Kozaczuk....your General....your oppressor....he can no longer hurt you. He's dead. These men killed him to free you all, and hopefully heal you. I'm not speaking to you because I wish to take the General's place. I'm not a leader. I don't wish to order, oppress, or send young men to their deaths. I just want what's best for my country. My people. My family. And you. I wish to help. The people who killed the General aren't here to kill you. They have come to free us. Our home. The general was a puppet, controlled by a monster far more inhuman and demonic than any of you could imagine. A monster who has taken our home, our lives, and cast a dark shadow over them, rotting them to the core. Your livelihood, your happiness, in pieces because of The Kinyetz, an organization that hates, despises and wants to destroy you because you're human! You don't deserve death because of your own humanity! Your humanity is what makes you incredible, what makes you men! And it's what gives you the right to stand up for yourselves and fight! To fight for a brighter, better tomorrow for us and those we love! To do away with oppression and sickness, to fight for the freedom we've long deserved! To fight for the future where Wymarcian men and women work for eachother's benefit and happiness! Brutes have risen to power, animals have sickened and put the fear of God into us, but we don't have to bow to them! We are better, we deserve better! Soldiers of Wymarcie, I ask---no, beg you, join me and my allies, and you will have a taste of our land's future, a future without hunger, without disease, where you can sleep warm and comfortably, where the roads are paved and the buildings stand soundly, and where you stand united and happy like you know in your hearts you have rightfully earned! Lets us do away with disease, fear, decay and hate! Fight for your freedom, fight for your health, fight for your happiness, fight with us! In the name of our home, in the name of humanity, let us UNITE!"
The way those men cheered...Not even 15 minutes ago they were all walking dead more or less....and this kid breathed life and confidence into them most world leaders can't even dream of. For once in this miserable mission, we all stood proud...

I saw this very colourful and happy man at the public viewing of the soccer world cup (Argentina vs. Nigeria) - he was more than willing to let me take a few photos. Proof that sport unites what politics divides...

So, first of all, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Jason Momoa was officially confirmed as Aquaman! And in what better way than a picture of him, IN UNIFORM. (this is my own photo, just google unite the seven to see the official.) But this pic may reveal more than Momoa's Aquaman. "Unite The Seven" may indicate that Aquaman will bring the Justice League together somehow, and at the end of Batman vs. Superman. This also means we know who will be in the Justice League: Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Superman (Henry Cavill, Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and Green Lantern (Unkown).

This piece won Best in Show at BRICKSPO 2016, and Honorary Mention Best in Show and a Best Brickscape at Brickcon 2016.
