Shooting a model in a graveyard of 20,000 mannequins is an opportunity that doesn't come around too often. It's been nearly two years since I shot this with Danielle Victoria Stokes but I hesitated to post this due to me pressing the wrong button on the back of my camera and inadvertently shooting the whole evening in 10mp crop sensor mode!!
The result is ok but I will always look at this and think, damn, I wished I'd shot it full bore!

Sophia on Lanzarote earlier this spring. We found this abandoned complex with its fading graffiti walls — a perfect match for her bright top. The wind was relentless that day, constantly fighting our flashes, but it added this wild energy to the frame.

Another one-light portrait of the talented Fawnya from the UK.
Shot in 2017 and it is indeed a shame, that Fawnya is retired now. But from the 2 hour session with her back then I have so many different keepers, so I can't complain.
Edited in Capture One Pro and Photoshot, as always in this ILFORD Pan F look using Mastin Labs styles.

Light painting, models and urbex, not necesarily in that order. It's not as easy as you might think narrowing it down to 12 images; I'll probably change my mind. Happy New Year!
This was shot on a studio day at Pathway studio's in Chester, England. It was shot as follows

Nikon 50MM F1.8D
Ilford Delta 400 Black & White Film
2 x Bowens with Softboxes to Light the background.
1 x Bowens overhead with Octabox
1 x Constant light LED Ring light in front of the model.
Last November on Gran Canaria with the lovely Sophia.
Leica IIIa + 40mm f4 T-43 Lomo + FP4
I rehoused the lens with a LTM helicoid and rangefinder coupled it.
