Deutsche Post-owned DHL have a small, but useful, selection of shipping cartons, called "Packsets." The Packset product page lists each Packset's size and even gives examples for the kind of things that would fit into each of the different sizes.
What you see in the above image is Deutsche Post's postage calculator. To find out what the shipping charges amount to, you select the destination ("Ziel"), choose box-shaped ("Quaderformat") or tube-shaped ("Rollenformat") from the Format menu, enter the package's dimensions, and hit "Berechnen" (calculate).
Why did this site's designers not include an item for each of the standardized Packsets in the Format menu? Instead of having to search for the measurements or actually measuring the package myself, I'd simply choose the Packset type I want to send and have the website come up with the dimensions and the resulting price. Much more convenient and effective.
As an additional problem, there is no English localization of this calculator available, even though all the other pages I checked on this site do offer a German/English toggle.

GIMP was designed to be a Photoshop replacement. It has many improvement now since I first played with it back in 1999. Things are tidied up quite a bit, as is many crazy things you can do by writing your own extensions.

Envy 4G is a concept phone created by me in my spare time, it is about a full touch screen phone that comes with a new processor called Carbon and MasterMobile as operational system. The mainly idea was to create a competitor to Apple's iPhone 4G and Android premium phones. Here are some images that I took some inspiration from, Microsoft's Metro interface was the mainly inspiration to develop MasterMobile OS screens because of its simplicity.
All names and trademarks as Next, MasterMobile, Carbon and Basecode are ficticious.
