Nice "joke" shirt. Happily it shows Jack Nicholson, not Obama.
Design Hypotheses #4: Don't fall in love
Design is the act of changing what you've done before... not much to disagree with there.
My AUVI patch was never able to be released due to AUVI licensing. I did however give the code to a few people who owned AUVI licenses and I received a nice email in return with a hybrid patch and UI - a combination of this and their own style. Fun. This patch also had an OpenGL layer and effects as well. Jitter 1.2.3 and 1.5.
Elements were created in Illustrator and used for PLRB trade show animated DVD introducing Xactware software products.
I received this message when attempting to quit Flickr Uploadr 3.0.5 in OS 10.5.5. Some user interface problems:
1. Pressing the Cancel button doesn't cancel the upload -- it cancels the quit request, but this dialog doesn't communicate that clearly.
2. The Yes, quit button cancels the upload and quits, but this is confusing because the other button is called Cancel.
3. I actually don't have an upload in progress, but Uploadr thinks I do, so this dialog is incorrect regardless of its ambiguity.
To me this screen snapshot demonstrates a poor design decision in the dialog and button wording and possibly a bug in Uploadr.
