the rest of the interface sucks for so many reasons, it just doesn't flow, there is overlap in function, inconsistency in interface. and there seems to be a problem with actually saving changes, fundamental!

A tool kit designed for a Java-based page/image editing application. The original tool kit was very basic visually, with flat, jaggy graphics. I decided that a more photoshop-like treatment would be appropriate for an application that was being heralded as a photo editing system.
This set easy to edit. it contains vector shapes as editable paths.

Buttons are essential in user interface as they provide a mean of navigation in websites and apps. This design is a nice little experiment with texture-rich buttons that can be used in websites. Though the degree of detail probably exceeds the ones used due to the size, I think the buttons themselves can have a lot of interesting elements alone.

A UI mockup for firefox to increase its tab capacity. Horizontal tabs act as categories while the vertical 'page previews' act like regular tabs.
Themed to fit better with the native windows 7 applications
I made a mockup of an interface I'd like to see for Quicksilver. Would be great if someone could implment it :)
It's strange. There's not many gravestones for women still standing in the cemetery, but this one stands out for its beautiful top natural decoration!

Some making of pics on:
Personal check-in at Geneva airport for easyJet.
What I found interesting about this is the way the process was communicated. There was confusion on the part of the traveller, including me, as the sign above the baggage check-in stated that "you must check-in first". So everyone queued at baggage and then had to be told to get their tickets. Why couldn't they just communicate it as "get your tickets first" blah blah.
Parametric search UI fail: No U-haul, I probably won't be using a 1928 Model-A Ford to tow one of your trailers.
A rather old concept of mine that tried to solve the problem of long forms. This is the Form for editing a content type. I removed all descriptions below input fields (they could be referenced by little question marks). Also I tried to use the horizontal instead of the vertical.
My main objective was to ge a "no-scroll" Form. This takes on a completely different direction than what Mark and Leisa are working on, but might be interesting.
Pennies having a bit of a seizure. it can email your data to you, but you can't complete the process. Or try to get out of the process once it's jammed.
Which is a shame, besides that it's a great little app.
