Taken during the cool of the evening when the house was hellishly hot from the heatwave.
The vine was a saviour, shielding the north facing glass door from much of the intense heat. It suffered very little damage and look, it's putting on a colour show too.
Taken with an ISO Duplex 120 stereo camera in week 40 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:
Shanghai GP3 film developed in Ilfosol 3
For this exposure I taped a red filter over the left lens, and a blue one over the right, then tried out a two colour (bichrome) version of the trichrome technique.
Trichrome photography involves taking three exposures of the same subject on black and white film. Each exposure is taken through a red, green or blue filter. These photos are then combined to produce a colour image.
Below the main photo are the black and white images from which the bichrome was made.
John Locke (29 August 1632 – 28 October 1704) was an English philosopher and physician, widely regarded as one of the most influential of Enlightenment thinkers and commonly known as the "Father of Liberalism". Considered one of the first of the British empiricists, following the tradition of Sir Francis Bacon, he is equally important to social contract theory. His work greatly affected the development of epistemology and political philosophy. His writings influenced Voltaire and Rousseau, many Scottish Enlightenment thinkers, as well as the American revolutionaries. His contributions to classical republicanism and liberal theory are reflected in the United States Declaration of Independence
