Missie closing in on Jim. It's interesting: we've had new cats who are fine with humans, but very spooked by the other cats, but Missie is the exact opposite, which seems to be much rarer.

I have added grain to the already high ISO-setting and on top of that cropped the original very hard. Essentially an easy way to go.

On the top of the foldable extra bed in my study. Maia, in the back, is wondering where the reflection of the sun, that the lens made on the wall, went. Flipps would like to have a snack.

Maximum noise reduction in the RAW-editor and Maximum noise reduction with the Photoshop filter. Because of ISO 25600.

I'm not sure that's the best way to go.

Always a plus with furry animals.

This is from today and the kittens have become eight days old, they are slowly starting to open their eyes as can be seen on some of the photos from this batch.

Due to a bit sloppy editing in Photoshop.

The fawn coloured kitty doesn't have as dark pupils as the other ones.

More pictures from yesterday. I have lifted the kittens out of their nest and placed them on the sofa. A convenient height, so I can sit on the floor and also a nice day-light from some large windows.

The kittens are fifteen days old, and they are getting a little bit mobile.

The back up shot. Ebony growled the whole time I was holding her. She is so impatient! First time I have taken a photo with her! Not bad for a first time :-D

The photos in this Winter Accessories set are done with two flashes, one reflected in an umbrella, standing to the left, and one bare, standing on the right side of the camera.

This weeks theme is Home, and it brought to mind the song "Our House" by Crosby Stills and Nash, because we have two cats in the yard....however, they really don't like each other at all, so I couldn't get them both in the same shot! Perhaps a diptych will have to do, lol! : )
