String of hearts plant in a hanging basket at home....these two caught my attention ....symbolizing my partnership with my wife...growing together side by side.
Two Rambler Americans are part of a Christmas display in the late afternoon in Queen Creek Arizona. It's been many a year since I've seen two Ramblers adjacent to one another.
By 4 years after this photo was taken, the adjacent road was widened to 2 lanes in each direction with concrete curbs and pavement covering much of the grassy area at the lower right.

A "bench and, perhaps in particular, the park bench, has become the symbol of the democratic city — of free, accessible and equitable public space provided by the city for its citizens. It is a place to be private in public, a small space in the melee of the metropolis where it is acceptable to do nothing, to consume nothing, to just be. A truly free bench. "

I think that these two trees have little or no branches anymore. They stand in a spot that rarely gets direct sunlight.

I like the way the two rock outcrops point towards the horizon in this 3 minute exposure. Nice diagonals and repeating lines in my opinion.
I'm glad this image is finally out. It has taken a while to do and with some advice from a fellow photog it has gone from colour with large negative space in the upper half to a B&W 2:1 crop.
The late afternoon was very overcast, windy & lots of seaspray. I was having trouble seeing in the darkness and finding a focus point. As you can see i decided to focus on the bottom right point of the rocks in front so your eye goes from left to right.
Don't forget to leave me a line, as that would be appreciated.
Jason.
A visit in hope after my most recent visit, at a weekend, proved very unproductive as many roaming dogs left the beach empty of most birds. Sanderlings are usually present at this time of year.
This shot was taken last week in Tamworth, Staffs. We were driving along and i saw these two trees on the top of a hill. Obviously we had to stop.

A "two-fer". On my way from Manchester, Tennessee to the Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, when I spotted the MERAMEC CAVERNS sign on this barn. I photographed it and started back up the road when I saw the opposite side had RUBY FALLS art work. The barn is/was located on a goat farm. The top of the roof says...See Jesse James Hideout...followed by the ad you see here for Meramec Caverns. A year or so later, I took a trip to Meramec Caverns on Route 66 - "The Mother Road". The barn is/was on US 41, headed north, in Coffee County, Tennessee
Okay, "...I am starting a series that involves all of my family members, and i ask them what is their most valuable possesion that fits in their two hands"
this is my grandpa's and his most valuable possession was his children, so these are their hands, from left to right, my daddy, my aunt jamie, and my taunt
they are also from youngest to oldest
each of these three will be featured also
i like this series, because my family is participating and that's nice to know that they really want to and like helping me
taking this was so funny.
