Seacats Magic and Mischief moored up side by side in Ipswich Marina today! Happy Smile On Saturday everyone!
Calmly taking in the rugged scenery. Mountain goats love rock mountains, this place must seem like they have arrived in heaven to the herd.

Tom Thumb and his wife, Hunca Munca, raid a dollhouse leaving quite a mess.
The one on the right is a Boreal Chickadee that I have seen it for the first time (Life Bird# 451). The one on the left is a friendly Black-capped Chickadee that is abundant in our area. Because of large color variation the Boreal Chickadee was very easy to pick up from a large group of Black-capped Chickadee that it was hanging out with. Note how the white patch on its cheek is so much smaller than the Black-capped. Darlington Provincial Park, Durham, Ontario

"Two of us riding nowhere
Spending someone's
Hard earned pay
You and me Sunday driving
Not arriving
On our way back home
We're on our way home
We're on our way home
We're going home
Two of us sending postcards
Writing letters
On my wall
You and me burning matches
Lifting latches
On our way back home
We're on our way home
We're on our way home
We're going home
You and I have memories
Longer than the road that stretches out ahead
Two of us wearing raincoats
Standing solo
In the sun
You and me chasing paper
Getting nowhere
On our way back home
We're on our way home
We're on our way home
We're going home
You and I have memories
Longer than the road that stretches out ahead
Two of us wearing raincoats
Standing solo
In the sun
You and me chasing paper
Getting nowhere
On our way back home
We're on our way home
We're on our way home
We're going home
We're going home
Better believe it."

Waiting for a good wave. Another one of those photos where I didn't instantly see what was there. Interestingly - they seem to be fairly sharp, even though the exposure was more than a second. Not only is this a testament to the image stabilisation powers of the OM1, as I shot this handheld, it also says something about the surfers' stillness in the water as they waited for their wave.
If you are looking at this on a small screen it is very possible that the title will be a complete mystery but I promise there are in fact two surfers in the picture.

To commemorate the two years since Ironbridge Power Station closed I thought I would post the landscape shot of 66 716 departing the power station on closure day 20 November 2015. With some wisps of steam still being emitted from the cooling towers, the station would be shut down at 2.30pm by, former employee, Mike Smith. The shed was working 4Z61 12.00 Ironbridge Power Station to Hexthorpe Yard, moving three cripple wagons. This shot hadn't been on for quite some time but an hour with a pair of secateurs, note the freshly cut branches over the right hand cooling tower, made sure it could be recorded.

Quite rare for two chicks to survive to this stage, as can be seen they are well fed.
Doris Day - Tea For Two
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi1yOsqDXew
Oh honey, picture me upon your knee
With tea for two and two for tea
Just me for you
And you for me alone
Nobody near us
To see us or hear us
No friends or relations
On weekend vacations
We won't have it known, dear
That we own a telephone, dear
Day will break and I'm gonna wake
And start to bake a sugar cake
For you to take
For all the boys to see
We will raise a family
A boy for you and a girl for me
Can't you see how happy we will be?
Picture you upon my knee
Tea for two and two for tea
