While the male kept a camera only, the female did two small flags on her bag on that Independence Day.

The two skyscrapers that make up Downtown Fort Worth's City Center Towers—Bank of America Tower and Wells Fargo Tower—rise into the early-morning North Texas sky.

Going through some of my older photos and came across this one that I took while in Cape Verde. A hotel cat balancing while either drInking or looking at itself at The Rui Tourag Hotel on the island.

Thank you everyone for your visits, faves and comments, they are always appreciated :)

As two very pink clouds color, two small puddles also sit in my view. Combining them gives a pleasant perspective on an otherwise grey rocky area.

Adding the "V" lines that lead to the puddles helps with a small but significant pair of leading lines. It was a rather calm evening, the kind that leaves one glad just to have been there.

Young Female Blackbird eating Berries in a tree.

taken July 2020 in Stevenage Herts on a bright sunny day

Due to a couple of reason I don't get out much with my camera these days.

But, I still love photography.

I go on a walk in a nearby park almost every day. Consequently, most of my recent images are from there.

I'm beginning to feel like the "leaf guy".

This is one from today's walk, shot with a Lensbaby Velvet 28. Processed in Lightroom Classic and Nik 6 Color Efex.

I need to get out more...

This shot was taken with the same old Leica lens that I used for the shot of St Paul's Cathedral that I posted a few days back. It's a 90mm lens but when I adapt it to use on my Olympus Micro 4/3s camera, with it's crop sensor, it effectively becomes a 180mm lens. Using a telephoto lens that long will inevitably introduce a lot of compression into an image and you see that phenomenon very clearly here. The chimney tower on the right, which stands on top of the Tate Modern museum, is approximately 250 meters away. Meanwhile the slightly taller Shard building on the left is approximately 1100 meters away (distances measured in Google maps). The Shard is 306 meters high, the Tate chimney tower is 99 meters high.

The dromedaries at our local zoo are quite comical and seem to know how to ignore the camera pointing at them... they will strike a pose however, when given the chance, lol

Too late for "Smile on Saturday" group theme: "TWO-IN-ONE"

No two mornings are ever the same...thankfully :)

no matter how hard i tried i couldn't deal with the "burntoutness" of this but i like it nonetheless, so.

Happy Smile on Saturday!

It took 12 months to finalise the purchase of Two Seas which is Owned by my step-son and his partner.

It arrived at Hillary's Boat Harbour yesterday.

It sleeps 6 but eventually it will sleep more.

It will be put to work as soon as they get it how they want it.

So if you ever make it to Western Australia you can book a wonderful day out on any of the three boats they have.

Friday again, have a good one
