This pano shows a view from the Zugspitze over the Alps in the north. I like the two clouds hanging in front of the tops and the wide view to the 'Alpenvorland'.

The pano is stitched from 4 single shots.

So...Two whelk shells basked on the beach, enjoying the sun and sea breeze. One shell exclaimed, "Isn't this shore-ly the best spot?" The other replied, "Absolutely, just don't get too tide down with the sand!" They laughed, sharing beach tales while seagulls provided a coastal soundtrack. As the waves whispered their stories, the whelk shells knew they had found their perfect slice of shell-ter. AI.

Only two trees create this much beauty!!

Two roads diverge in the middle of my life I heard a wise man say, and I took the one less traveled by and that's made the difference, every night and everyday so I say one way, one way to heaven, hold your hands up high. Follow, free and forgiven children of the sky, children of the sky, children of the sky. - Larry Norman

The two iconic trees of Nudgee beach are quite impressive at low tide appearing to be growing on a small island but in fact fully immersed at high tide. this was quite a moment at sunrise with the "lit" clouds and reflections.

Happy New Year to all Flickr friends hope you all had a great NYE celebration last night

A Northern Parula and Prairie Warbler both attracted to red berries (rouge plant) in my yard.

A beautiful Monarch feasting on Mexican Sunflowers (Tithonia) is a hard-to-beat combination. The biggest plot of Tithonia I've seen this year is at the National Arboretum in DC.

View Large for the best look.

These two trees are very hard to pass by without taking a photograph (there are loads on my stream) but in the weather on Sunday evening I was tempted to stay in the car. It was unpleasently cold and you can see the hail and snow blowing through the photo.

These two lone Mallard Ducklings where all that appeared to be left of this couple's brood. They guarded them closely, not allowing to stray too far off from dad or mum. Mallard mated pairs migrate to and breed in the northern parts of their range and build nests on the ground or in a protected cavity. They normally lay about a dozen eggs, and the incubation period lasts just under a month. Mallards are territorial during much of this period, but once incubation is well underway, males abandon the nest and join a flock of other males.

Two rams and two ewes.

This section of the Union Pacific Railroad has been shut down for over 25 years. It runs along the Arkansas River so the sheep sometimes hang out along the railroad and river bank.

One unfortunate consequence of spring is that trees get leaves and shots like this can't happen!!!

Two rainbows. A bit of hunt for a suitable composition on the pier, hopefully i made the right choice?
