Welcome back to Twentytwo Creek and the Lake 22 trail on the Mountain Loop Highway South in Snohomish County, Washington. From the trailhead this is the second recognized waterfall you will encounter, but as I mentioned earlier in my other Lake 22 waterfall images, there are several cascades of water along the whole creek. In fact, there is a really scenic cascade right past the trailhead but access to it looks pretty difficult. Humpback Falls is the least impressive in person of the five recognized waterfalls, but photographically speaking, it provides a nice little scene. This creek's cascades contain several downed trees & logjams so if you are not a fan of those around your waterfalls, make sure to visit someplace else. Thanks for checking this out. Enjoy!

Day Twentytwo, it's an Actor Portfolio Day. He's Mario Sgueglia, an amazing actor, who lives in Rome and performs mostly in theaters. We spent most of the afternoon together in his country house, shooting some portraits for his actor portfolio.

I'm still alive! I've gotten a couple messages from people asking where I went, but I'm still here, haha. I put my 365 on a very short hiatus while I had midterms. I have two more tests but I should have the time to take a photo those days. So I will (hopefully) be back on flickr more regularly now :]
Going here would be cool.

Hundred Step Falls is the largest of the five waterfalls along the Lake 22 Trail in Snohomish County, Washington. The total height is 225 feet but this is the 75 foot portion of the falls that is easily viewable. Realistically, you could designate several drops and cascades of Twentytwo Creek as waterfalls, so it is almost up to your decision where one ends and the other begins. The trail veers away from the creek right after the side trail to this falls so seeing the other sections would require lots of off trail climbing, which is a J-Ri no thank you. On my first trip here I mistook this for Apron Falls. Thanks for checking this out. Enjoy!
walking to my last class of the week this morning i saw this huge oil slick in a parking lot. i've been toting my camera around when i go to campus just in case and i'm glad i had it.
i didn't superimpose these colors, i simply clicked the enhance button in iphoto and cropped a teeny bit. i posted the unedited one in comments...just doesn't have the same effect.

Mossy Rock Falls is the final cascade of the five recognized waterfalls spilling out of Lake Twentytwo in Snohomish County, Washington. It is also the first of the five you will encounter on the Lake 22 Trail. The conditions could not have been any worse. It was raining like buckets during the whole visit and I only had seconds to capture this before my lens paid the price. Considering the dreary conditions I cannot complain too much about how this one turned out. Mossy Rock Falls ends up being quite photogenic because you are provided with pretty easy access right here to the main tier of the fall. There are a couple of drops above, and it also continues below, totaling 145 feet. Thanks for checking this out. Enjoy!
PLP Architecture for Lipton Rogers Developments / AXA Real Estate. View of work-in-progress on 22 Bishopsgate. The relative magnitude of this building in the Square Mile now becomes apparent. 62 floors above ground, 278.2 m / 913 ft, completion in 2019.
The back of the Leadenhall Building comprises various services including colourful lifts which shine through the reflections of the clouds as they run over the glazing. Lying in the (dead end)road was essential not simply for the angle but to minimise the roaring winds swirling round these corners.
Walter Newman's Mansion House is one of the icons of West Virginia architecture, history, and preservation. The oldest known structure in the Kanawha valley, this two-and-one-half-story, gable-roofed tavern was built on a portion of the site of the battle that had occurred twentytwo years earlier. The house, measuring 32 by 24 feet, is built of squared logs chinked with mud and grass and joined at the corners with dovetailed notches. The saddlebag plan features two rooms of unequal size on either side of a slightly offset central chimney, around which the stairway winds. Each first-floor room has its own entrance and fireplace. The stone chimney has a later brick cap above the roof.
After its use as a tavern ceased, the building became a residence, and additions were made to the log core.

One of the many waterfalls along the trail to lake twenty two. This one has a step bridge across it with a massive tree trunk to accent the scene. Very cool to see with this light.
This 50 ft. drop is easily the most impressive on the Lake 22 Trail in Snohomish County, Washington. When this was captured to put it frankly the conditions were hell. It was raining all day while we were here, and as usual, the more we climbed in elevation to reach this falls that much harder it started raining. I only wish I would have had a little more time to enjoy it, but I had to move on out, I was getting pretty soaked. Thanks for checking this out. Enjoy!
And I close out the Lake Twentytwo images where they began, at the jewel waterfall of the area, Apron Falls. Just a reminder, in case you missed my first image of Apron Falls. Apron Falls is the final waterfall on the trail before you reach Lake Twentytwo itself. Therefore, it is the first major waterfall to spill out of Lake Twentytwo. On a rainy and windy day like this one, this is the closest you can get to it. This waterfall also has a heavy dose of spray and mist that you would have to combat even on a non-rainy day.
