Start by looking at the section at the top. Try to identify the large diamond and the small diamond in the center. You're trying to bring the smaller diamond forward.

Step 4.5 - Add alpha channel and using magic wand tool, click each white sprocket hole and cut out.
You can see the difference in the image before this tutorial and the image after.

I made all these beads using recycled bottle glass (except the blue, which were harvested from a broken vase).
This was quite an eye opening experience for me, and a ton of fun.
Last week I ordered a few art technique books, one of them being a book on painting sci-fi art by Francis Tsai called Extreme Worlds. Inside the book is a tutorial to create the painting I did above.
At first as I was looking through the book I was thinking, there's no way Sketchbook Pro is going to be able to create any of this stuff... it's too awesome and I'm just an amateur artist with an iPad. I'm going to have to buy a wacom and spend a grand on Photoshop... but I decided to give it a shot. The results were and are amazing.
Perspectives are off and all the sizing isn't correct but I think it turned out pretty darn good for a book tutorial using SkBP on my iPad. I'll probably do more tutorials and share my results here as well. If I'm brave enough I might just try something of my own, once I feel saucy. :)
This took about 6 hours and I followed an eleven step walkthrough. You can see screenshots of my progress in a collage piece I created below using the Moxier Collage app.
Everything was done with my finger, I have yet to order or try a stylus.
Who says learning can't be FUN!?!

Bom, inicialmente preparem suas unhas como de costume.
1 - pintem o polegar e o anelar com esmalte Branco purÃssimo ou outro equivalente e os outros dedos com esmalte Black da Colorama
2 - Por cima do esmalte preto passem um esmalte com glitter, no meu caso eu usei o Army - na mira 3D da Impala, pq definitivamente eu sou Apaixonada por ele, mas se vc tem outro pode usa-lo.
3 - Escreva "PARIS" no polegar com esmalte preto e o pingo do "i" faça um coraçãozinho em vermelho.
4 - Comece iniciando a Torre, sugiro que siga essa foto como exemplo para a mesma ficar nessa exata posição.
5 - Finalize a Torre, apenas em um esboço.
6 - Exceto a parte retangular horizontal da Torre, faça um tipo de "X" dentro do espaço branco e desenhe coraçõeszinhos vermelhos em volta.
E pronto, estará LINDA!
