Just trying to get a feel for where people could use some help. I figure I might as well share some of what I know. I started a tutorial a while back, but never got to finish it. I'd like to change that.

Tack the square to the center of your block so that the side with one set of points is on top and the side with two sets of points is on bottom. Again make sure not to catch any of the points on the bottom.

Yes. first, start with a white/paint canvas or a corkboard :)

i used to paint so i have alot of canvases :) this is very light and good to use.

 

some fabric that cover the board and then some to fold on the back.

 

ribbons, buttons, needles, scissors and a stapler :)
