"Nightswimming, remembering that night.

September’s coming soon.

I’m pining for the moon.

And what if there were two

Side by side in orbit

Around the fairest sun?

That bright, tight forever drum

Could not describe nightswimming."

Nightswimming - REM

I detest this time, this seasons change. Summer dies, and another little memory square is sewn.

Yet when the nights are entirely darkened, Halloween lights and pumpkin faces, there is a hint of winter and a pact of spring. Christmas, dismiss the commercialism and try to keep the core, a promise made.

Just rambling a bit...

"Turning the Place Over" was created by Richard Wilson. A large oval has been cut from the facade of the former Yate's Wine Bar opposite Liverpool's Morrfields station. The segment is pivoted and rotates slowly. The piece was unveiled on 20.6.07 and will be in place till the end of 2008.
