Hub of an abandoned wooden, horse-drawn cart found in a roadside heap in the old gold-mining town of Naseby, in New Zealand’s South Island province of Otago.

 

This must be high quality, hardened steel as the rust is only surface oxidation. Pretty impressive for something the best part of a century old.

My boy is turning 3 on Saturday! 3 years gone by already, its amazing watching them grow into young people :)

The window of opportunity today for a silhouette was about 10 minutes when the sky cleared briefly this evening. I've only got one west facing window which is downstairs and a hill rises from it, which means to get just a silhouette and sky I have to shoot from low down which means I don't get the angle that I really want. I may just have to venture outside soon .....

Koi fishes like to swim in school. As the two leaders turned their direction and few were ackonwledged and about to change while the remaining need more time to respond to change.

Turning Torso is a skyscraper in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet) with 54 stories. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, and Europe's second highest apartment building, after the 264-metre-high Triumph-Palace in Moscow.
