The cut off line going to the left is where the southern leg of the turning triangle used to be. The northern leg was removed in 1971, the southern leg remained for a number of years to access a grain shed

The segments were trimmed with a knife and sandpapered with fine grit.

Put together loosely. The contrasting disk is ok but the All-Black is out a big bit.

Turning Torso is a skyscraper in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet) with 54 stories. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, and Europe's second highest apartment building, after the 264-metre-high Triumph-Palace in Moscow.

妹妹 (Younger sister) has grown up so fast...coming October she will turn ONE.

She can now walk on her own...can tell from her expression that she is equally proud of herself...

Good job, Renee

Down in the summer fields of Beamish Museum a Shire hauls a hay turner effortlessly through the newly cut grass. Perhaps his enthusiasm is tempered by the knowledge that a good job done now will inevitably result in more to eat during the coming winter.

In Maryland's Kensington area, in a garden in winter, no more than two feet high. It must've been green at some point (so I thought), but here in November it's turning a lovely speckled white.

In fact, according to online sources, this Dusty Miller is not turning at all, but has this speckled white all the time. Thanks, Edgeplot!
