Candi Prambanan, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. The clouds this evening were surreal...neither completely clear, nor completely hazy. It was almost as if a tuning fork was struck and allowed to vibrate in the sky. (See sky to the right).

I was having a play of my cello this evening, so it became today's photograph. This part in particular, because I'm absolutely awful at tuning my cello.
Being in tune with nature today. This was during my solo morning hike around the Union Valley Reservoir. Simply beautiful here! Some others started their hike earlier (I wanted to sleep in a bit lol). (Sunday morning, August 21, 2022)
This was during me and my families’ annual camping trip. This year, we went to the Wench Creek Campground located up in the Sierra Nevada, particularly around Kyburz, CA. Wench Creek Campground is located in a beautiful ponderosa pine forest on the east shore of the Union Valley Reservoir. The campground has 2 group campsites and several single-family campsites. Plenty of water activities await at this reservoir in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The Union Valley Bike Trail and Bassi Falls Hiking Trail are also worth exploring. Outdoor activities include boating, biking, hiking, fishing, sightseeing and more. Camping is all about disconnecting from real life, spending some time outdoors and strengthening your family relationships. One of the best things about camping is that you have nothing to do, and all day to do it. It forces you to look up from your screen, slow down, and appreciate your surroundings… From stargazing at night while sitting around the campfire, to waking up early to watch the sunrise and prepare breakfast, camping is the perfect outdoor adventure for creating lasting memories! ‘Til next time, safe travels!
