Tulips in the window

They have some very spectaculer displays of Tulips at Leed Castle in Kent.

We went to the Tulip Festival today and took some great shots. I took a lot of the fields wide, but also many up close in the show plots from the farm. The sun finally popped out mid afternoon and it warmed up enough to lose the outer jacket.

I love this shot because of the mountains in the background. You can see the snow is still on the higher elevations. And you can see a bit of one of the yellow fields behind this out in the distance.

This is the first shot I took in Hahndorf on Sunday. The two tubs of red tulips either side of the door immediately caught my eye as I walked down the street.
