Each day as I find myself keeping one eye on the road and the other on the distant sun as it makes its decent from my little corner of the world.
Normally, each passing moment seems to somehow smooth out those rough edges of the day, easing any tension from the days events.
Normally, I make the turn to the east and watch it disappear in my rear-view mirror, but today was one of those days that didnt seem to want to let go so easily and I decided to divert off course a bit through the Veterans Grounds.
I made my way to a convenient place to stop, stepped out of the car into the cold winter air and stared out into the vastness of it all. The wind was blowing strong taking the snow with it and kind of splashing against and around the stones like a river.
it wasn't long before I found myself completely at peace with the moment, those details of the day that were racing through my mind only moments ago minimized by my surroundings.
I said a prayer to for the people who lay at rest, snapped a couple photos and went on my way.

The sculpture is thought to be part of a first-century ancient Roman fountain, or perhaps a manhole cover, portraying one of several possible pagan gods probably Oceanus. Most Romans believe that the 'Bocca' represents the ancient god of the river Tiber.

I can not take credit for this photo. I saw it and it "spoke" to me lke a "Introduction" to the Storm. I will try to find the original source for you. However.. I am very happy to be a part of your group. I am a novice, however I have always had a passion for pictures. I seek SkyScapes for my "Story Telling". Including, Cloud formation, Trees, Birds, Lighting. etc..
I am on a Personal Mission to "tell the story with pictures". Here is my Quest:
If a picture stays a 1000 words,
then there is much to learn.
If a picture does not Lie,
it must be the Truth.
To Teach the Truth,
There Must be Lies
If there Are Lies....
There must a Story.
This Is My Story,
I'm Telling it with Pictures.
NOTE: my quest has led me to some very frightening truths...
and some very POWERFUL medicines
If the "inevidible" happens in our lifetime or our childrens lifetime; It IS going to happen.
I am going to keep the "truth" infront of me; as we make decisions for our future; and our decendents future. We need to "get back to basics"; and simplicity of living without.
I we need to know Basic Survival Skills, How to "can" and preserve food, Safe storage of water, and how to survive with out Electricity, and cell phone towers. (how will we communicate).
Pictures and videos are a UNIVERSAL language, we can take the responsibility of "changing" our destination by "Playing it Forward" (be sure there's no "fast forward option".. SLOW DOWN.. because we only have one test, one choice, one destination.
I don't know, or can speak for you..
But if we take pictures NOW and learn from the Past...
We have a better chance to reach the masses; that it takes to "pull this off"

"Truth is Beauty," a 55-foot tall sculpture by Marco Cochrane
The statue, completed in 2013, was displayed at that year's Burning Man festival in Nevada.
Today it is located in San Leandro, California, within the San Leandro Tech Campus and adjacent to the San Leandro BART station.
The feet of the statue are surrounded by a concrete circle, level with the surrounding grass, in which metal characters spell out the question "What would the world be like if women were safe?" in several languages.

"Others' Truths", Know Hopes tenth and newest zine is comprised of a series of drawings, texts and observations collected during the past year.
While working on the zine, Know Hope focused on the idea of 'truisms', which are often adopted without questioning; by the use of the image of the flag in his work, Know Hope attempts to research the concepts of patriotism and nationalism, not necessarily from a directly political stance, but from a viewing point of the personal or private human condition in relation to the more general and collective.
"Others' Truths" is in a way a continuation of Know Hopes research, attempting to understand the current situation that we find ourselves in, being born into a charged reality structured on the foundations of past and outdated morals and values.
"Others' Truths" is independently published in an edition of 1000. The zines are soft cover and have 64 b/w pages.

You will never know absolutely everything about someone
People claim that they know everything about me, truth is that no one know everything about anyone, especially me. No one seems to know the real me anymore. I've changed alot these past few years and the people you used to know me really well, don't know me at all. And vise versa. I hung out with someone I used to be best friends with a few years ago today, and i realized how much i don't know him. Everything about him has changed. And I mean its not a bad thing, it just is. And he didn't know anything about me. We have to get to know each other again. Were working on it.
Ps. my pants are so painty cuz i just splatter painted my bed today :)
