5.23.2017. Talisman... I've carried this little paper heart around with me for about six years. Six years ago, I stomped paint around barefoot on a paper for days until I realized I was looking-acting out, self-hatred and shame.
This little pink heart, that was part of that painting, is a talisman. A reminder of the beautiful, raw, and vulnerable parts of myself.
