The day I was laid off from my job at H-E-B, my parents took me to lunch at a Chinese restaurant.

The AMAUTA Volunteer Program provides the unique opportunity to live and work in either Peru or Argentina. Volunteers experience the rich, cultural diversity of the country of their choice while developing their Spanish skills. This unique opportunity allows volunteers to contribute to society and bridge the gap between foreign visitors and locals.
AMAUTA works with many local charity projects, and each volunteer may choose both the field and preferred location of his or her placement. Possible fields of interest include social work, education, medical, tourism, and cultural work. Placement sites include orphanages, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and projects for street children. While most of the projects take place in main cities, there are also projects located in rural areas.
For every volunteer a project receives, AMAUTA also helps with financial support by purchasing various items such as medical supplies, food, infrastructure improvements, or educational materials. All volunteer programs include four weeks of Spanish study followed by your volunteer work experience. Each program has a different commitment time frame, and specialized skills are not necessary. We only ask that each volunteer is motivated to help the people these projects work to support.
Likewise, the Internship Program provides an opportunity to gain valuable work skills in a variety of fields. This program is especially designed for students and recent graduates who are looking for a challenging working experience abroad.

For Spring Break my family came to me this year :)
They stayed at the Helmsley at Lido Beach and had the best view of the ocean. Out of 200 pictures taken, only 11 were taken for my portfolio. We had so much fun and I can only wish they eventually move here as well. Beach, sun, and ME...what more could they ask for!!
The daylight version if you will. Cars are most impressive at night. They glimmer and glow, and like your average club goer they hide imperfections in voids of shadow. That's why the previous true black example seemed so colorful and full of life. It was shot in a night-like setting with very little light. This shot however was not, though it is still true black. Look at the dark recesses outlining the contours and details. They are black. The high amount of white light covers everything in grey though there's enough proportional black to make it 'pop' like the car of your dreams should. It's all in the contrast. The right amount of light to dark contrast is the key to a realistic yet fantastic looking image.

If this photo looks familiar, it is. I posted color version about a month ago. I've been goofing around in Photoshop and kind of like the way this turned out. The color of her eyes captivates me. I didn't mess with her eye color, they really are that blue.
