For more than 50 years bottlenose dolphins have been gracing the shores of Western Australia. A pod of dolpins swim up an down the shore line extremely close to the beach interacting with a local ranger.
I can't not write, despite the chaotic connection and chance of failure. All my life has fed from this, so I'm not sure where I'd be without words. Jonathan Byrd, one of my favorite songwriters, said that he writes so much in the morning that he can't fit it all in the trash. Most of my writing is typing, but I love the image of that. A lot of my prose and poems are passing, shared once and never again. What's true to life will come to the surface, appearing again in my books, or read out loud in some setting. The important thing now is the absolute moment, that I don't forget I'm living in it. I don't believe in writer's block, none of that nonsense. You can always write something, even if it's worthless and uninspired. Sometimes, you need a full-speed crash into a brick wall before it all spills out.

At home sick again, napping, twiddling my thumbs and watching TV. Look closely... that's Rooster Cogburn driving a wagon, racing to save Mattie Ross from a rattlesnake bite.
Here's the story... Stella (left) and Rosie (right) had babies on the same day. Stella's baby died. Stella thinks that Rosie's baby is hers and mothers her as though she were her own. She nuzzles and cleans and gives her lots of love and attention. Rosie does not seem to mind. No jealously in these cows, evidently :-).
Merino, Tussah silk, Romney, bamboo, ramie, California variegated mutant, Blue Faced Leicester,Sari Silk thrums, silk, bamboo carbonized, angelina, firestar spun into a thick and thin and then plied with hand dyed mohair boucle.
April 17th, 2014, saw the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang and hence the 'Guardsman blue' and 'Wimbledon white' paint used here. The paint theme was based on Ellsworth Kelly's 'Yellow Over Dark Blue' which also celebrates its 50th this year.
Powder Color Festival in Lisabon. Smiles, youth and fun vere were nice an it was nice to see it and capture some images.

On October 5th, Seton Hall formally launched a new alumni recognition program called True Blue during a ceremony on campus. Several hundred alumni, parents, students and community members attended the celebration as part of Seton Hall University Weekend.
