POHAKU LOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii (Nov. 12, 2019) - Twenty helicopters from 25th Combat Aviation Brigade traveled 200 miles to provided troop lift capability to air assault the Gimlets of 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division from Wheeler Army Airfield to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on Big Island of Hawaii, Nov. 12, 2019. CH-47 Chinook helicopters assigned to the Hillclimbers of 3rd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment along with UH-60 Blackhawks assigned to 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment were used in the execution of this large muscle movement to move Soldiers and equipment intra-island for the upcoming exercise.

SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii (June 11, 2020) - Soldiers assigned to B Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, conduct a three-gun raid air assault exercise June 12, 2020 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The Soldiers flew from X-ray Training Area and rapidly emplaced their firing positions at the East Range Training Area. The coordinated exercise, alongside the Bravo Company Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade, was the culmination to the Artillery Table XV certification for the Battery. KEAUKAHA MILITARY RESERVATION, Hawaii (Aug. 24, 2021) - Soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division conduct a company level air assault mission during Exercise Bronco Rumble at Keaukaha Military Reservation on Hawaii Island on Aug. 24, 2021. This mission allowed the brigade to test their ability to conduct operations over large distances, including on neighboring islands, while still maintaining operational control utilizing the newly fielded Integrated Tactical Network communications platforms.
