Triangle minus one

Cut out myriad triangles out of my "visual journal" on 5 pages, each page with another iteration of the fractal.

0st page - Cut 1 trangle, result 1 triangle

1nd Page -Cut 3 triangles (resulting in 5)

2rd Page - Cut 9 trianges (resulting in 14)

3th page - Cut 27 triangles (resulting in 41)

4th page - Cut 81trianges (resulting in 122)

Equation 3^n =Cut

Also, I noticed that if you add the result of the previous page with the current "cut" number, you get the result of the current page...

A photo of a roadsign which has gone through an auction in the last few years. Is this a really early example with a much larger hole in the centre?

My favourite fabric as a binding.. I'm nearly out of this print :(

This is a simple module based on 60 degree geometry. 3 Modules are assembled and each module is folded from 7.5cm square of Korean Duo-coloured papers. This model was created on 6th. January 1995 and left in a box of "Not yet diagrammed" models...Now still no diagrams yet but I will do something about it...later.

This design was inspired from an antique quilt my parents had when I was growing up. It's made with scraps and unbleached muslin. I stuffed this pillow-- next time I'll make a sham because I hated stitching shut the opening and did it poorly. For the back of the pillow, I used a brown pindot fabric. The pillow measures 14 by 14 inches.

I was so busy working out what this meant as I climbed the ladder I bashed my head on an overhead obstruction... ah, that's what it means.

This is the layout I'm going with I think. Random and fun. I was going to do the diamond looking one, but after I had it all laid out, I didn't really love it...I think I love this one. It will be 17 squares by 17 squares...so HUGE.

My first block for Betty for the Threads Together Quilting Bee. Hope you like it!

This was so much fun, and exactly what I was hoping for with this bee--it was a challenge with an unfamiliar technique, I learned a lot, and fell in love with it.

Went "Jingle-bloody-jangle"

I folded this a while back but never got around to photographing it. It got squished (sadface) but I guess it's still cool.
