A triangle is a polygon with three edges and three vertices. It is one of the basic shapes in geometry. A triangle with vertices A, B, and C is denoted â–³ A B C {\displaystyle \triangle ABC} \triangle ABC.
In Euclidean geometry any three points, when non-collinear, determine a unique triangle and a unique plane (i.e. a two-dimensional Euclidean space).

I wanted a few photos with triangles. Found this at the art gallery in Österhaninge. Made by Marianne Kopamees.
Just a piece of a larger design that's in the works. I liked it enough I wanted to share some of it early :)

The Equilateral Triangle shape [Coaster?] is assembled from 3 modules. Each module is folded from 15cm square Kami.
The concept of the fold is similar to the 60 Degree Unit but modified for 2-D models. The front and the back of this model is the same.
This series was created in 1990 and first published in Modular Origami [self-publication]. One of the variations is also published in the British Origami Society Booklet #58
