All jokes aside, I felt terrible for this little guy. Yaks like this were a common sight at any scenic stop in the route (and what isn't scenic?!) There were people pushing you to take pictures of them or on them.. yikes. He looked so incredibly sad. Made for a nice picture, but :-(
On a happier note, the decorations remind me of this guy from AH! Real Monsters. :)
